* ARM: defconfig: remove sysfs-deprecated entriesArnd Bergmann2024-01-111-2/+0
| | | | | | | | These were removed last year in commit 721da5cee9d4 ("driver core: remove CONFIG_SYSFS_DEPRECATED and CONFIG_SYSFS_DEPRECATED_V2"), so remove the last references to them in arm config files. Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
* ARM: s5pv210_defconfig: enable IIO required by MAX17040Svyatoslav Ryhel2023-10-031-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | After adding support for passing temperature data from thermal sensor to MAX17040 it got dependency on CONFIG_IIO. From all defconfigs using MAX17040 only s5pv210_defconfig did not have IIO already enabled so let's enable it to avoid regression. * arch/*/configs/*defconfig: Replace AUTOFS4_FS by AUTOFS_FSSven Joachim2023-07-291-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Commit a2225d931f75 ("autofs: remove left-over autofs4 stubs") promised the removal of the fs/autofs/Kconfig fragment for AUTOFS4_FS within a couple of releases, but five years later this still has not happened yet, and AUTOFS4_FS is still enabled in 63 defconfigs. Get rid of it mechanically: git grep -l CONFIG_AUTOFS4_FS -- '*defconfig' | xargs sed -i 's/AUTOFS4_FS/AUTOFS_FS/' Also just remove the AUTOFS4_FS config option stub. Anybody who hasn't regenerated their config file in the last five years will need to just get the new name right when they do. * ARM: configs: replace CONFIG_NO_HZ=y with CONFIG_NO_HZ_IDLE=yStefan Hansson2022-08-291-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | According to https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/latest/timers/no_hz.html, CONFIG_NO_HZ=y should be replaced by CONFIG_NO_HZ_IDLE=y for newer kernels, so let's reflect that in the 32-bit ARM defconfigs. * ARM: defconfig: reorder defconfig filesArnd Bergmann2022-08-291-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | The debug-info and can subystem options have moved around in the 'savedefconfig' output, so fix these up to reduce the clutter from the savedefconfig command. * ARM: defconfig: address renamed CONFIG_DEBUG_INFO=yArnd Bergmann2022-07-221-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | CONFIG_DEBUG_INFO is now implicitly selected if one picks one of the explicit options that could be DEBUG_INFO_DWARF_TOOLCHAIN_DEFAULT, DEBUG_INFO_DWARF4, DEBUG_INFO_DWARF5. This was actually not what I had in mind when I suggested making it a 'choice' statement, but it's too late to change again now, and the Kconfig logic is more sensible in the new form. Change any defconfig file that had CONFIG_DEBUG_INFO enabled but did not pick DWARF4 or DWARF5 explicitly to now pick the toolchain default. * ARM: refresh defconfig filesArnd Bergmann2022-07-221-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | A lot of Kconfig options have changed over the years, and we tend to not do a blind 'make defconfig' to refresh the files, to ensure we catch options that should not have gone away. I used some a bit of scripting to only rework the bits where an option moved around in any of the defconfig files, without also dropping any of the other lines, to make it clearer which options we no longer have. * ARM: configs: Remove useless UEVENT_HELPER_PATHKrzysztof Kozlowski2019-06-191-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Remove the CONFIG_UEVENT_HELPER_PATH because: 1. It is disabled since commit 1be01d4a5714 ("driver: base: Disable CONFIG_UEVENT_HELPER by default") as its dependency (UEVENT_HELPER) was made default to 'n', 2. It is not recommended (help message: "This should not be used today [...] creates a high system load") and was kept only for ancient userland, 3. Certain userland specifically requests it to be disabled (systemd README: "Legacy hotplug slows down the system and confuses udev"). | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Enable following drivers for Samsung Aries family of devices: - I2C support (using s3c2410 driver) - s5p-jpeg - s5p-mfc - Exynos DRM rotator - PWM support - PWM vibrator - Fixed regulator - Syscon poweroff - Atmel maXTouch touchscreen - Broadcom BCM4329 Bluetooth over UART0 - DMA devices (so we can use pl330 DMA driver) Disable DEBUG_LL.
