* ARM: mach-mx27_3ds: Remove camera supportFabio Estevam2017-01-031-107/+0
| | | | | | | | | Since commit 6b879edf75b316 ("[media] staging/media: remove deprecated mx2 driver") the mx2 camera driver has been removed, so remove the camera support from the board file as well. Signed-off-by: Fabio Estevam <fabio.estevam@nxp.com> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawnguo@kernel.org>
* ARM: imx legacy: mx27-3ds: move peripheral initialization to .init_lateVladimir Zapolskiy2016-09-201-10/+20
| | | | | | | | | | The change moves some of peripheral registrations and initializations (all peripherals dependent on GPIOs) from .init_machine to .init_late level, this allows to safely shift the shared GPIO controller driver initialization level after init level of i.MX IOMUXC driver. * ARM: imx: move EHCI platform defines out of platform_data headerShawn Guo2014-07-181-0/+1
| | | | | | | | The platform_data header usb-ehci-mxc.h has a lot of stuff used by only IMX platform code. They shouldn't be really in this header but a IMX platform local header. Create ehci.h and move these stuff into it. Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@freescale.com>
* ARM: i.MX: Setup IRQ handler from IRQ driverAlexander Shiyan2014-05-121-1/+0
| | | | | | | | This patch moves IRQ handler setup to the its corresponded IRQ driver (AVIC, TZIC). Signed-off-by: Alexander Shiyan <shc_work@mail.ru> Signed-off-by: Shawn Guo <shawn.guo@freescale.com>
* ARM: delete struct sys_timerStephen Warren2012-12-241-5/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Now that the only field in struct sys_timer is .init, delete the struct, and replace the machine descriptor .timer field with the initialization function itself. This will enable moving timer drivers into drivers/clocksource without having to place a public prototype of each struct sys_timer object into include/linux; the intent is to create a single of_clocksource_init() function that determines which timer driver to initialize by scanning the device dtree, much like the proposed irqchip_init() at: http://www.spinics.net/lists/arm-kernel/msg203686.html Includes mach-omap2 fixes from Igor Grinberg. * ARM: imx: include hardware.h rather than mach/hardware.hShawn Guo2012-10-151-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | It moves a bunch of header files included in hardware.h and itself from mach-imx/include/mach to mach-imx, and updates users to include hardware.h rather than mach/hardware.h. The files in mach-imx/devices will need to include "../hardware.h". * ARM: imx: include common.h rather than mach/common.hShawn Guo2012-10-151-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | Rename mach-imx/include/mach/common.h to mach-imx/common.h and update all users to include common.h rather than mach/common.h. It also removes an unneeded inclusion to common.h in mach-imx/devices/devices.c. * ARM: imx: move iomux drivers and headers into mach-imxShawn Guo2012-10-151-1/+1

* | | backlight: fix broken regulator API usage in l4f00242t03Mark Brown2011-10-311-4/+2
| |/ |/| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The regulator support in the l4f00242t03 is very non-idiomatic. Rather than requesting the regulators based on the device name and the supply names used by the device the driver requires boards to pass system specific supply names around through platform data. The driver also conditionally requests the regulators based on this platform data, adding unneeded conditional code to the driver. Fix this by removing the platform data and converting to the standard idiom, also updating all in tree users of the driver. As no datasheet appears to be available for the LCD I'm guessing the names for the supplies based on the existing users and I've no ability to do anything more than compile test. The use of regulator_set_voltage() in the driver is also problematic, since fixed voltages are required the expectation would be that the voltages would be fixed in the constraints set by the machines rather than manually configured by the driver, but is less problematic. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The cell's platform_data is now accessed with a helper function; change clients to use that, and remove the now-unused data_size. Note that mfd-core no longer makes a copy of platform_data, but the mc13xxx-core driver creates the pdata structures on the stack. In order to get around that, the various ARM mach types that set the pdata have been changed to hold the variable in static (global) memory.
