* ARM: plat-nomadik: move DMA40 header to <linux/platform_data>Linus Walleij2012-11-051-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | This moves the DMA40 platform data header from <plat/ste_dma40.h> to <linux/platform_data/dma-ste-dma40.h> where is belongs. * ARM: ux500: Pass SDI DMA information though AUX_DATA to MMCILee Jones2012-09-201-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | There are four SDIs on the HREF, as opposed to the original two enabled on Snowball. To get them working we have to pass their DMA information in the same was as we need with the other two. * ARM: ux500: Enable Device Tree support mmci for SnowballLee Jones2012-07-131-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | Allow proper initialisation for MMC via the mmci driver for the Snowball low-cost development board using DT. At the moment we continue to use DMA setup from platform code. Once the DMA generic DT bindings have been completed we can then port the remainder over to DT. | * ARM: ux500: pass parent pointer to each platform deviceLee Jones2012-02-131-15/+16
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch provides a means for any device within ux500 platform code to allocate its own parent. This is particularly prudent with the introduction of /sys/devices/socX, as a device can now proclaim to be integral part of an SoC, rather than a more generic platform device. Latter patches make good use of this functionality. Signed-off-by: Lee Jones <lee.jones@linaro.org> Acked-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>

| * ARM: 7219/1: mmc: mmci: Change vdd_handler to a generic ios_handlerUlf Hansson2012-01-201-13/+8
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The purpose of the vdd_handler does not make sense. We remove it and use a generic approach instead. A new ios_handler is added, the purpose of which e.g. can be to control GPIO pins to a levelshifter. Previously the vdd_handler was also used for making additional changes to the power register bits. This option is superfluous and is therefore removed. Adaptaptions from the old vdd_handler to the new ios_handler is done for mach-ux500 board, which was the only one using the vdd_handler. This patch is based upon a patch from Sebastian Rasmussen. * ARM: ux500: remove support for early silicon revisionsLinus Walleij2011-12-191-34/+20
| | | | | | | | | | | The DB8500 ED (Early Drop) and V1 are only available inside of ST-Ericsson or partners, we have actively replaced and scrapped these prototypes. All Nova products on the open market (such as the Snowball board) are based on V2 and later ASIC variants. So let us focus on supporting the silicon that will be used and delete this to get a clear overview. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>

* mach-ux500: correct MMC/SDI parametersLinus Walleij2011-06-211-4/+6
| | | | | | | | We cannot clock the MMCI blocks more than 50 MHz. A bug prevented us from seeing the effect of actually driving them to 100 MHz, which indeed resulted failure, on the external SD card. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
* mach-ux500: fix HREFv60 regressionLinus Walleij2011-06-211-8/+24
| | | | | | | | This fixes a regression on the HREFv60 ux500 hardware: the wrong level shifter was addressed in the MMCI vdd handler, trying to reconfigure an unclaimed GPIO pin. Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@stericsson.com>
* ARM: 6830/1: mach-ux500: force PrimeCell revisionsLinus Walleij2011-05-261-4/+12
| | | | | | | | | | | | The DB8500v2 and DB5500 has a fifth version of the "PL023" and PL180 blocks. However the ASIC engineers have forgot to bump the revision in the PrimeCell peripheral ID registers. Since the platform is aware of the actual silicon revision we need to hard-code the periphid from the platform, bumping the subrevision field to 1. * mach-ux500: basic HREFv60 support v2Linus Walleij2011-03-141-9/+33
| | | | | | | | | | | | The HREFv60 variant of the MOP500 family of boards remove the external GPIO expander and route these pins back to some of the readily available internal GPIO pins instead. Based on a patch by Bibek Basu <bibek.basu@stericsson.com> for an internal kernel version. Cc: Bibek Basu <bibek.basu@stericsson.com> Signed-off-by: Linus Walleij <linus.walleij@linaro.org>
* mach-ux500: add hrefv60 GPIO pinsBibek Basu2011-03-141-58/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | This will centralize all GPIO pin muxing for the different boards in the MOP500 family to a single file. It also kills off the deprecated support for the ED (Early Drop) ASIC, this should never be spotted in the open and ST-Ericsson have internally deprecated this hardware.
