* consolidate per-arch stack overflow debugging optionsDave Hansen2013-07-041-4/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Original posting: http://lkml.kernel.org/r/20121214184202.F54094D9@kernel.stglabs.ibm.com Several architectures have similar stack debugging config options. They all pretty much do the same thing, some with slightly differing help text. This patch changes the architectures to instead enable a Kconfig boolean, and then use that boolean in the generic Kconfig.debug to present the actual menu option. This removes a bunch of duplication and adds consistency across arches. Signed-off-by: Dave Hansen <dave@linux.vnet.ibm.com> Reviewed-by: H. * [PATCH] frv: drop unsupported debugging featuresDavid Howells2006-01-081-22/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Drop support for debugging features that aren't supported on FRV: (*) EARLY_PRINTK The on-chip UARTs are set up early enough that this isn't required, and VGA support isn't available. There's also a gdbstub available. (*) DEBUG_PAGEALLOC This can't be easily be done since we use huge static mappings to cover the kernel, not pages. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
