* powerpc/dts: Remove "spidev" nodesRob Herring2021-12-211-8/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | "spidev" is not a real device, but a Linux implementation detail. It has never been documented either. The kernel has WARNed on the use of it for over 6 years. Time to remove its usage from the tree. * powerpc/5200: dts: digsy_mtc.dts: fix rv3029 compatibleAlexandre Belloni2018-03-141-1/+1
| | | | | | | | The proper compatible for rv3029 is microcrystal,rv3029. Acked-by: Anatolij Gustschin <agust@denx.de> Signed-off-by: Alexandre Belloni <alexandre.belloni@bootlin.com> Signed-off-by: Michael Ellerman <mpe@ellerman.id.au>
* powerpc/5200: Add generic compatible string for I2C EEPROMJavier Martinez Canillas2017-06-281-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The at24 driver allows to register I2C EEPROM chips using different vendor and devices, but the I2C subsystem does not take the vendor into account when matching using the I2C table since it only has device entries. But when matching using an OF table, both the vendor and device has to be taken into account so the driver defines only a set of compatible strings using the "atmel" vendor as a generic fallback for compatible I2C devices. So add this generic fallback to the device node compatible string to make the device to match the driver using the OF device ID table. * powerpc/5200: Use the gpt* labels to simplify mpc5200 dts filesGrant Likely2013-02-111-11/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | The DTC labels feature allows a dts file to reference a node without having to reproduce the entire node hierarchy above it. We can use this to simplify the MPC5200 board dts files by referencing the gpt nodes by label.
