* sh: fix smp_store_mb for !SMPMichael S. Tsirkin2016-01-261-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | sh variant of smp_store_mb() calls xchg() on !SMP which is stronger than implied by both the name and the documentation. commit 90a3ccb0be538a914e6a5c51ae919762261563ad ("sh: define __smp_xxx, fix smp_store_mb for !SMP") was supposed to fix it but left the bug in place. Drop smp_store_mb, so that code in asm-generic/barrier.h will define it correctly depending on CONFIG_SMP. Signed-off-by: Michael S. Tsirkin <mst@redhat.com>

* locking/arch: Rename set_mb() to smp_store_mb()Peter Zijlstra2015-05-191-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Since set_mb() is really about an smp_mb() -- not a IO/DMA barrier like mb() rename it to match the recent smp_load_acquire() and smp_store_release(). * arch: Clean up asm/barrier.h implementations using asm-generic/barrier.hPeter Zijlstra2014-01-121-18/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | We're going to be adding a few new barrier primitives, and in order to avoid endless duplication make more agressive use of asm-generic/barrier.h. Change the asm-generic/barrier.h such that it allows partial barrier definitions and fills out the rest with defaults. There are a few architectures (m32r, m68k) that could probably do away with their barrier.h file entirely but are kept for now due to their unconventional nop() implementation.
