* ACPICA: Add debug print message for mutex objects that are force-releasedBob Moore2012-11-151-1/+5
| | | | | | | | | | At control method termination, any currently acquired mutex objects are force-released. Add a new message for each one that is released. * ACPICA: Audit/update for ACPICA return macros and debug depth counterBob Moore2012-11-151-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | 1) Ensure that all functions that use the various TRACE macros also use the appropriate ACPICA return macros. 2) Ensure that all normal return statements surround the return expression (value) with parens. * ACPICA: AcpiSrc: Fix some translation issues for Linux conversionBob Moore2012-07-171-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Fixes issues like this: i_aSL -> iASL 00-7_f -> 00-7F local_fADT -> local_FADT execute_oSI -> execute_OSI Also, in function headers, the parameters are now translated to lower case (with underscores if necessary.) * ACPICA: Make acpi_thread_id no longer configurable, always u64Lin Ming2010-10-011-5/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Change definition of acpi_thread_id to always be a u64. This simplifies the code, especially any printf output. u64 is the only common data type for all thread_id types across all operating systems. We now force the OSL to cast the native thread_id type to u64 before returning the value to ACPICA (via acpi_os_get_thread_id). * ACPICA: Fix for possible fault in acpi_ex_release_mutexLin Ming2010-04-201-11/+10
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Fixed a problem with the AML Mutex handling function acpi_ex_release_mutex where the function could fault under the very rare condition when the interpreter has blocked, the interpreter lock is released, the interpreter is then reentered via the same thread, and attempts to acquire a mutex that was previously acquired. * ACPICA: Standardize integer output for ACPICA warnings/errorsBob Moore2010-04-201-2/+2

* ACPICA: Move check for valid Thread ID structureDan Carpenter2009-12-151-9/+9

* ACPICA: Fix allowable release order for ASL mutex objectsBob Moore2009-05-271-4/+11
| | | | | | | | | | | | The ACPI 4.0 specification has been changed to make the SyncLevel for mutex objects more useful. When releasing a mutex, the synclevel of the mutex must now be the same as the current sync level. This makes more sense. This change updates the code to match the spec. * ACPICA: Mutex support: Fix release ordering issue and current sync levelBob Moore2009-05-271-2/+19
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Fixes a problem where if multiple mutexes of the same sync level are acquired but then not released in strict opposite order, the current sync level becomes confused and can cause errors. * ACPICA: Fix possible warnings for ACPI_THREAD_ID on 64-bit buildBob Moore2009-05-271-4/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | Warnings can be generated for printf-like statements that output the ACPI_THREAD_ID on 64-bit builds, since this type can expand to 64-bits depending on how it is defined. Use the %p format specifier to allow the output to automatically expand to 64 bits.
