* dmaengine: fsl: remove bad channel updateVinod Koul2020-10-051-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Commit 59cd818763e8 ("dmaengine: fsl: convert tasklets to use new tasklet_setup() API") broke this driver by not removing the old channel update method. Fix this by remove the offending call as channel is queried from tasklet structure. * dmaengine: fsl_raid: make of_device_ids const.Arvind Yadav2017-06-291-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | of_device_ids are not supposed to change at runtime. All functions working with of_device_ids provided by <linux/of.h> work with const of_device_ids. So mark the non-const structs as const. * dmaengine: fsl_raid: Fix module autoloadJavier Martinez Canillas2016-11-141-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | If the driver is built as a module, autoload won't work because the module alias information is not filled. So user-space can't match the registered device with the corresponding module. Export the module alias information using the MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE() macro. Before this patch: $ modinfo drivers/dma/fsl_raid.ko | grep alias $ After this patch: $ modinfo drivers/dma/fsl_raid.ko | grep alias alias: of:N*T*Cfsl,raideng-v1.0C* alias: of:N*T*Cfsl,raideng-v1.0 Signed-off-by: Javier Martinez Canillas <javier@osg.samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Vinod Koul <vinod.koul@intel.com>

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Completion callback should happen after dma_descriptor_unmap() has happened. This allow the cache invalidate to happen and ensure that the data accessed by the upper layer is in memory that was from DMA rather than stale data. On some architecture this is done by the hardware, however we should make the code consistent to not cause confusion. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This is in preperation of moving to a callback that provides results to the callback for the transaction.
