* drm/sti: drop use of drmP.hSam Ravnborg2019-06-061-1/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Stop using the deprecated drmP.h header file. Replaced with relevant forwards or headers files. Header files sorted in all files touched. Build tested with allyesconfig, allmodconfig for a number of architectures. * drm/sti: Fix compilation failure for drm_framebuffer.pixel_formatChris Wilson2017-01-271-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | drivers/gpu/drm/sti/sti_plane.c:76:33: error: ‘struct drm_framebuffer’ has no member named ‘pixel_format’; did you mean ‘format’? I didn't look to hard at the casting to a char * and just did a mechanical transformation of s/pixel_format/format->format/ as given in commit 438b74a5497c ("drm: Nuke fb->pixel_format"). * drm/sti: update fps debugfs entriesVincent Abriou2017-01-061-4/+13
| | | | | | | This update allows to have a clearer fps log trace by adding information about plane size and plane pixel format. Signed-off-by: Vincent Abriou <vincent.abriou@st.com>
* drm: sti: use generic zpos for planeBenjamin Gaignard2016-07-291-50/+28
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | remove private zpos property and use instead the generic new. zpos range is now fixed per plane type and normalized before being using in mixer. * drm/sti: Use 64-bit timestampsTina Ruchandani2016-06-271-13/+3
| | | | | | | | | | 'struct timespec' uses a 32-bit field for seconds, which will overflow in year 2038 and beyond. This patch is part of a larger attempt to remove instances of timeval, timespec and time_t, all of which suffer from the y2038 issue, from the kernel. * drm: sti: use late_register and early_unregister callbacksBenjamin Gaignard2016-06-211-21/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Make sti driver use register callback to move debugfs initialization out of sub-components creation. This will allow to convert driver .load() to drm_dev_alloc() and drm_dev_register(). sti_compositor bring up 2 crtc but only one debugfs init is needed so use drm_crtc_index to do it on the first one. This can't be done in sti_drv because only sti_compositor have access to the devices. It is almost the same for sti_encoder which handle multiple encoder while one only debugfs entry is needed so add a boolean to avoid multiple debugfs initialization Signed-off-by: Benjamin Gaignard <benjamin.gaignard@linaro.org> Signed-off-by: Daniel Vetter <daniel.vetter@ffwll.ch> Link: http://patchwork.freedesktop.org/patch/msgid/1466514580-15194-3-git-send-email-benjamin.gaignard@linaro.org

| | | | | | | | | | | Better fit STI hardware structure. Planes are no more responsible of updating mixer information such as z-order and status. It is now up to the CRTC atomic flush to do it. Plane actions (enable or disable) are performed atomically. Disabling of a plane is synchronize with the vsync event.
