* Input: drop owner assignment from i2c_driverKrzysztof Kozlowski2015-07-171-1/+0
| | | | | | | i2c_driver does not need to set an owner because i2c_register_driver() will set it. Signed-off-by: Krzysztof Kozlowski <k.kozlowski@samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Dmitry Torokhov <dmitry.torokhov@gmail.com>
* Input: delete non-required instances of include <linux/init.h>Paul Gortmaker2014-01-061-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | None of these files are actually using any __init type directives and hence don't need to include <linux/init.h>. Most are just a left over from __devinit and __cpuinit removal, or simply due to code getting copied from one driver to the next. * Input: qt2160 - add support for LEDsJavier Martin2013-01-041-2/+139
| | | | | | | | | | | | Outputs x8..x0 of the qt2160 can have leds attached to it. This patch handles those outputs using the generic LED framework. The PWM controls available in the chip are used to achieve different levels of brightness. | * workqueue: use mod_delayed_work() instead of __cancel + queueTejun Heo2012-08-211-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Now that mod_delayed_work() is safe to call from IRQ handlers, __cancel_delayed_work() followed by queue_delayed_work() can be replaced with mod_delayed_work(). Most conversions are straight-forward except for the following. * net/core/link_watch.c: linkwatch_schedule_work() was doing a quite elaborate dancing around its delayed_work. Collapse it such that linkwatch_work is queued for immediate execution if LW_URGENT and existing timer is kept otherwise. Signed-off-by: Tejun Heo <tj@kernel.org> Cc: "David S. * | Input: qt2160 - fix qt2160_write() implementationJavier Martin2012-10-251-14/+5
|/ | | | | | | | | | | | The previous implementation of qt2160_write() didn't work properly because the value was actually not written to the device. Probably nobody detected this because the only write that was issued was the one related to auto calibration. In order to fix the problem use a similar aproach as qt1070 instead. * Input: convert I2C drivers to use module_i2c_driver()Axel Lin2012-03-161-11/+1
| | | | | | | | | This patch converts the drivers in drivers/input/* to use the module_i2c_driver() macro which makes the code smaller and a bit simpler. Signed-off-by: Axel Lin <axel.lin@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Dmitry Torokhov <dtor@mail.ru>
* i2c: Remove all i2c_set_clientdata(client, NULL) in driversWolfram Sang2010-06-031-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | I2C drivers can use the clientdata-pointer to point to private data. As I2C devices are not really unregistered, but merely detached from their driver, it used to be the drivers obligation to clear this pointer during remove() or a failed probe(). As a couple of drivers forgot to do this, it was agreed that it was cleaner if the i2c-core does this clearance when appropriate, as there is no guarantee for the lifetime of the clientdata-pointer after remove() anyhow. This feature was added to the core with commit e4a7b9b04de15f6b63da5ccdd373ffa3057a3681 to fix the faulty drivers. As there is no need anymore to clear the clientdata-pointer, remove all current occurrences in the drivers to simplify the code and prevent confusion. * Input: make i2c device ids constantMárton Németh2010-01-091-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | The id_table field of the struct i2c_driver is defined as constant in <linux/i2c.h> so it makes sense to mark the initialization data also constant. Signed-off-by: Márton Németh <nm127@freemail.hu> Signed-off-by: Dmitry Torokhov <dtor@mail.ru>
* Input: add driver for Atmel AT42QT2160 Sensor ChipRaphael Derosso Pereira2009-09-221-0/+397
