* V4L/DVB (10185): Use negated usb_endpoint_xfer_control, etcJulia Lawall2009-01-071-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch extends 134179823b3ca9c8b98e0631906459dbb022ff9b by using usb_endpoint_xfer_control, usb_endpoint_xfer_isoc, usb_endpoint_xfer_bulk, and usb_endpoint_xfer_int in the negated case as well. The semantic patch that makes this change is as follows: (http://www.emn.fr/x-info/coccinelle/) // <smpl> @@ struct usb_endpoint_descriptor *epd; @@ - (usb_endpoint_type(epd) != \(USB_ENDPOINT_XFER_CONTROL\|0\)) + !usb_endpoint_xfer_control(epd) @@ struct usb_endpoint_descriptor *epd; @@ - (usb_endpoint_type(epd) != \(USB_ENDPOINT_XFER_ISOC\|1\)) + !usb_endpoint_xfer_isoc(epd) @@ struct usb_endpoint_descriptor *epd; @@ - (usb_endpoint_type(epd) != \(USB_ENDPOINT_XFER_BULK\|2\)) + !usb_endpoint_xfer_bulk(epd) @@ struct usb_endpoint_descriptor *epd; @@ - (usb_endpoint_type(epd) != \(USB_ENDPOINT_XFER_INT\|3\)) + !usb_endpoint_xfer_int(epd) // </smpl> Signed-off-by: Julia Lawall <julia@diku.dk> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>
* V4L/DVB (10130): use USB API functions rather than constantsJulia Lawall2008-12-301-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This set of patches introduces calls to the following set of functions: usb_endpoint_dir_in(epd) usb_endpoint_dir_out(epd) usb_endpoint_is_bulk_in(epd) usb_endpoint_is_bulk_out(epd) usb_endpoint_is_int_in(epd) usb_endpoint_is_int_out(epd) usb_endpoint_is_isoc_in(epd) usb_endpoint_is_isoc_out(epd) usb_endpoint_num(epd) usb_endpoint_type(epd) usb_endpoint_xfer_bulk(epd) usb_endpoint_xfer_control(epd) usb_endpoint_xfer_int(epd) usb_endpoint_xfer_isoc(epd) In some cases, introducing one of these functions is not possible, and it just replaces an explicit integer value by one of the following constants: USB_ENDPOINT_XFER_BULK USB_ENDPOINT_XFER_CONTROL USB_ENDPOINT_XFER_INT USB_ENDPOINT_XFER_ISOC An extract of the semantic patch that makes these changes is as follows: (http://www.emn.fr/x-info/coccinelle/) // <smpl> @r1@ struct usb_endpoint_descriptor *epd; @@ - ((epd->bmAttributes & \(USB_ENDPOINT_XFERTYPE_MASK\|3\)) == - \(USB_ENDPOINT_XFER_CONTROL\|0\)) + usb_endpoint_xfer_control(epd) @r5@ struct usb_endpoint_descriptor *epd; @@ - ((epd->bEndpointAddress & \(USB_ENDPOINT_DIR_MASK\|0x80\)) == - \(USB_DIR_IN\|0x80\)) + usb_endpoint_dir_in(epd) // </smpl> Signed-off-by: Julia Lawall <julia@diku.dk> Signed-off-by: Mauro Carvalho Chehab <mchehab@redhat.com>
* V4L/DVB (9351): ibmcam: Fix a regression caused by ↵Mauro Carvalho Chehab2008-11-111-6/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | a482f327ff56bc3cf53176a7eb736cea47291a1d As reported by David Ellingsworth: > I'm not sure if it matters or not, but the ibmcam driver in the > Mauro's linux-2.6 git tree in the for_linus branch is currently > broken. uvd is equal to NULL during most of ibmcam_probe. Due to that, an OOPS is generated at dev_info. This patch replaces uvd->dev->dev to dev->dev inside this routine. * V4L/DVB (9116): USB: remove info() macro from usb media driversGreg Kroah-Hartman2008-10-121-32/+46
| | | | | | | | | | | | USB should not be having it's own printk macros, so remove info() and use the system-wide standard of dev_info() wherever possible. * V4L/DVB (7589): ibmcam: improve support for the IBM PC Camera ProDavid Hilvert2008-04-241-15/+47
| | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch modifies Dmitri's original ibmcam driver for Linux to improve support for the IBM PC Camera Pro. It may also offer improved support for other models classified by the driver as 'Model 3', such as the IBM PC Camera Pro Max. * [PATCH] remove many unneeded #includes of sched.hTim Schmielau2007-02-141-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | After Al Viro (finally) succeeded in removing the sched.h #include in module.h recently, it makes sense again to remove other superfluous sched.h includes. There are quite a lot of files which include it but don't actually need anything defined in there. Presumably these includes were once needed for macros that used to live in sched.h, but moved to other header files in the course of cleaning it up. To ease the pain, this time I did not fiddle with any header files and only removed #includes from .c-files, which tend to cause less trouble. Compile tested against 2.6.20-rc2 and 2.6.20-rc2-mm2 (with offsets) on alpha, arm, i386, ia64, mips, powerpc, and x86_64 with allnoconfig, defconfig, allmodconfig, and allyesconfig as well as a few randconfigs on x86_64 and all configs in arch/arm/configs on arm. I also checked that no new warnings were introduced by the patch (actually, some warnings are removed that were emitted by unnecessarily included header files). * V4L/DVB (3599a): Move drivers/usb/media to drivers/media/videoMauro Carvalho Chehab2006-03-251-0/+3932
Because of historic reasons, there are two separate directories with V4L stuff. Most drivers are located at driver/media/video. However, some code for USB Webcams were inserted under drivers/usb/media. This makes difficult for module authors to know were things should be. Also, makes Kconfig menu confusing for normal users. This patch moves all V4L content under drivers/usb/media to drivers/media/video, and fixes Kconfig/Makefile entries.
