* scsi: use 'depends' instead of 'select' for SCSI_FC_ATTRSRandy Dunlap2014-09-161-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | There are other kconfig symbols which use SCSI_FC_ATTRS. In order to maintain sanity and prevent kconfig warnings, change all of these from using 'select' to using 'depends on' so that proper symbol dependencies will be honored and circular depends problems will be avoided. This fixes kconfig warnings and build errors: warning: (LIBFC && SCSI_IBMVFC && SCSI_QLA_FC && SCSI_LPFC && ZFCP && SCSI_BFA_FC && SCSI_CHELSIO_FCOE && FUSION_FC) selects SCSI_FC_ATTRS which has unmet direct dependencies (SCSI && NET) drivers/scsi/scsi_transport_fc.c: In function 'fc_host_post_event': drivers/scsi/scsi_transport_fc.c:543:7: error: 'scsi_nl_sock' undeclared (first use in this function) drivers/scsi/scsi_transport_fc.c: In function 'fc_host_post_vendor_event': drivers/scsi/scsi_transport_fc.c:611:7: error: 'scsi_nl_sock' undeclared (first use in this function) Reported-by: Fengguang Wu <fengguang.wu@intel.com> [0-day test robot] Signed-off-by: Randy Dunlap <rdunlap@infradead.org> Signed-off-by: David S. * [SCSI] mpt fusion: Add support for ATTO 4LD: Rebranded LSI 53C1030Eric Moore2007-10-121-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Per request from Matthew Wilcox - using PCI_VENDOR_ATTO. Add support for ATTO UL4D, they are rebranded 53C1030. The changes are 1. Adding a new PCI vendor ID in pci table 2. The spi_port_page_2 is in different format than that of LSI generic spi_port_page_2 and hence mapping code is added. signed-off-by: Sathya Prakash <sathya.prakash@lsi.com> signed-off-by: Eric Moore <Eric.Moore@lsi.com> Signed-off-by: James Bottomley <James.Bottomley@SteelEye.com>
* [SCSI] mpt fusion: logging support in Kconfig, Makefile, mptbase.h and ↵Prakash, Sathya2007-07-281-0/+14
| | | | | | | | | | | | | addition of mptdebug.h This patch adds a new file mptdebug.h in the fusion source directory, which contains different debug macros. The existing debug macros and flags are removed from the mptbase.h and Makefile In Kconfig a new configuration parameter FUSION_LOGGING is added to enable/disable the logging support during compile time. signed-off-by: Sathya Prakash <sathya.prakash@lsi.com> Signed-off-by: James Bottomley <James.Bottomley@SteelEye.com>
* [SCSI] mpt fusion: update Kconfig helpGwendal Grignou2007-07-201-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | Update help in Kconfig for mptfc driver to indicate the driver supports Brocade FC 4G HBA. signed-off-by: Gwendal Grignou <ggrignou@brocade.com> Acked-by: Eric Moore <eric.moore@lsi.com> Signed-off-by: James Bottomley <James.Bottomley@SteelEye.com>
* [S390] Kconfig: refine depends statements.Martin Schwidefsky2007-05-101-0/+1

* [SCSI] mptctl for mptsasDouglas Gilbert2007-01-131-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch makes the mptctl pass through available if the mptsas driver is selected. Without this patch if mptsas is the only fusion driver chosen, then the mptctl is not presented as an option. smp_utils uses the mptctl driver to pass SAS SMP functions through a MPT SAS HBA. * [SCSI] mptspi: Add transport class Domain ValidationJames Bottomley2006-03-011-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This is the first half of a patch to add the generic domain validation to mptspi. It also creates a secondary "virtual" channel for raid component devices since these are now exported with no_uld_attach. What Eric and I would have really liked is to export all physical components on channel 0 and all raid components on channel 1. Unfortunately, this would result in device renumbering on platforms with mixed RAID/Physical devices which was considered unacceptable for userland stability reasons. Still to be done is to plug back the extra parameter setting and DV pieces on reset and hotplug. Signed-off-by: James Bottomley <James.Bottomley@SteelEye.com>
* [SCSI] mptfc: need to select transport attrsJames Bottomley2006-01-141-0/+1
| | | | | | | Now that mptfc actually uses the transport class, it can't be built without it. Signed-off-by: James Bottomley <James.Bottomley@SteelEye.com>
* [SCSI] fusion SAS support (mptsas driver)Christoph Hellwig2005-09-191-0/+17
| | | | | | | | | | Adds the actual mptsas driver, based upon the LSI driver with new work for SAS transport class integration from Eric Moore and me. This obviously depends on the SAS transport class. Signed-off-by: Christoph Hellwig <hch@lst.de> Signed-off-by: James Bottomley <James.Bottomley@SteelEye.com>

* [SCSI] mptfusion: correct Kconfig problemJames Bottomley2005-05-201-0/+6
| | | | | | | | The fusion Kconfig forgets to set CONFIG_FUSION, which is required to get the upper makefile to descend into the fusion directory. Add this back as a variable and make the two upper level modules select it. Signed-off-by: James Bottomley <James.Bottomley@SteelEye.com>
* [SCSI] mptfusion: Kconfig Adding new bus type drivers for fusion drivers.Moore, Eric Dean2005-05-201-15/+30

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
