* mfd: rk8xx: Convert to use maple tree register cacheMark Brown2023-11-011-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | The maple tree register cache is based on a much more modern data structure than the rbtree cache and makes optimisation choices which are probably more appropriate for modern systems than those made by the rbtree cache. * mfd: Switch i2c drivers back to use .probe()Uwe Kleine-König2023-06-151-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | After commit b8a1a4cd5a98 ("i2c: Provide a temporary .probe_new() call-back type"), all drivers being converted to .probe_new() and then 03c835f498b5 ("i2c: Switch .probe() to not take an id parameter") convert back to (the new) .probe() to be able to eventually drop .probe_new() from struct i2c_driver. * mfd: rk8xx-i2c: Use device_get_match_dataSebastian Reichel2023-05-151-52/+37
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Simplify the device identification logic by supplying the relevant information via of_match_data. This also removes the dev_info() printing the chip version, since that's supplied by the match data now. Due to lack of hardware this change is compile-tested only.
