* mmc: core: Move public functions from card.h to private headersUlf Hansson2017-02-131-2/+12
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | A significant amount of functions and other definitions are available through the public mmc card.h header file. Let's slim down this public mmc interface, as to prevent users from abusing it, by moving some of the functions/definitions to private mmc header files. This change concentrates on moving the functions into private mmc headers, following changes may continue with additional clean-ups. * mmc: core: First step in cleaning up private mmc header filesUlf Hansson2017-02-131-0/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | This is the first step in cleaning up the private mmc header files. In this change we makes sure each header file builds standalone, as that helps to resolve dependencies. While changing this, it also seems reasonable to stop including other headers from inside a header itself which it don't depend upon. Additionally, in some cases such dependencies are better resolved by forward declaring the needed struct. * mmc: make mmc_dev_to_card() macro publicAndy Shevchenko2010-10-231-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | Conversion from struct device to struct mmc_card is used more than in one place. Due to this it's better to have public macro for such thing. * mmc: use sysfs groups to handle conditional attributesPierre Ossman2008-03-221-1/+10
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Suppressing uevents turned out to be a bad idea as it screws up the order of events, making user space very confused. Change the system to use sysfs groups instead. This is a regression that, for some odd reason, has gone unnoticed for some time. It confuses hal so that the block devices (which have the mmc device as a parent) are not registered. End result being that desktop magic when cards are inserted won't work. Signed-off-by: Pierre Ossman <drzeus@drzeus.cx> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>
* mmc: refactor bus operationsPierre Ossman2007-07-091-0/+22
Move bus operations to its own file for the sake of clarity. Also delegate sysfs attributes to bus handlers in preparation for other more exotic types. Signed-off-by: Pierre Ossman <drzeus@drzeus.cx>
