* mlx4: Move the Mellanox driverJeff Kirsher2011-08-111-9/+0
| | | | | | | | Moves the Mellanox driver into drivers/net/ethernet/mellanox/ and make the necessary Kconfig and Makefile changes. CC: Roland Dreier <roland@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Jeff Kirsher <jeffrey.t.kirsher@intel.com>
* mlx4_en: Added self diagnostics test implementationYevgeny Petrilin2010-08-241-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | The selftest includes 5 features: 1. Interrupt test: Executing commands and receiving command completion on all our interrupt vectors. 2. Link test: Verifying we are connected to valid link partner. 3. Speed test: Check that we negotiated link speed correctly. 4. Registers test: Activate HW health check command. 5. Loopback test: Send a packet on loopback interface and catch it on RX side. Signed-off-by: Yevgeny Petrilin <yevgenyp@mellanox.co.il> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>

* mlx4_core: Add link type autosensingYevgeny Petrilin2009-03-181-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | When a port's link is down (except to driver restart) and the port is configured for auto sensing, we try to sense port link type (Ethernet or InfiniBand) in order to determine how to initialize the port. If the port type needs to be changed, all mlx4 for the device interfaces are unregistered and then registered again with the new port types. Sensing is done with intervals of 3 seconds. * mlx4_en: Add driver for Mellanox ConnectX 10GbE NICYevgeny Petrilin2008-10-221-0/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | The Mellanox ConnectX can operate as an InfiniBand adapter, as an Ethernet NIC, or as a Fibre Channel (FC) HBA. The kernel has a low-level driver, mlx4_core, which handles multiplexing access to the device, and there is also already an InfiniBad driver, mlx4_ib. This patch adds a new driver, mlx4_en, which implements a standard Ethernet NIC driver. | | | | | | | | Add support for managing MAC and VLAN filters for each port. Signed-off-by: Yevgeny Petrilin <yevgenyp@mellanox.co.il> Signed-off-by: Oren Duer <oren@mellanox.co.il> Signed-off-by: Roland Dreier <rolandd@cisco.com>
* IB/mlx4: Add a driver Mellanox ConnectX InfiniBand adaptersRoland Dreier2007-05-081-0/+4
Add an InfiniBand driver for Mellanox ConnectX adapters. Because these adapters can also be used as ethernet NICs and Fibre Channel HBAs, the driver is split into two modules: mlx4_core: Handles low-level things like device initialization and processing firmware commands. Also controls resource allocation so that the InfiniBand, ethernet and FC functions can share a device without stepping on each other. mlx4_ib: Handles InfiniBand-specific things; plugs into the InfiniBand midlayer.
