* treewide: Add SPDX license identifier - Makefile/KconfigThomas Gleixner2019-05-212-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add SPDX license identifiers to all Make/Kconfig files which: - Have no license information of any form These files fall under the project license, GPL v2 only. The resulting SPDX license identifier is: GPL-2.0-only Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
* nfc/mei: convert to SPDX license tagsTomas Winkler2019-03-281-13/+2

* nfc: pn544: constify i2c_device_idArvind Yadav2017-11-061-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | i2c_device_id are not supposed to change at runtime. All functions working with i2c_device_id provided by <linux/i2c.h> work with const i2c_device_id. So mark the non-const structs as const. Signed-off-by: Arvind Yadav <arvind.yadav.cs@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Samuel Ortiz <sameo@linux.intel.com>
* NFC: pn544: Switch to devm_acpi_dev_add_driver_gpios()Andy Shevchenko2017-06-221-2/+1
| | | | | | | | Switch to use managed variant of acpi_dev_add_driver_gpios() to simplify error path and fix potentially wrong assignment if ->probe() fails. Signed-off-by: Andy Shevchenko <andriy.shevchenko@linux.intel.com> Signed-off-by: Samuel Ortiz <sameo@linux.intel.com>
* networking: add and use skb_put_u8()Johannes Berg2017-06-161-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Joe and Bjørn suggested that it'd be nicer to not have the cast in the fairly common case of doing *(u8 *)skb_put(skb, 1) = c; Add skb_put_u8() for this case, and use it across the code, using the following spatch: @@ expression SKB, C, S; typedef u8; identifier fn = {skb_put}; fresh identifier fn2 = fn ## "_u8"; @@ - *(u8 *)fn(SKB, S) = C; + fn2(SKB, C); Note that due to the "S", the spatch isn't perfect, it should have checked that S is 1, but there's also places that use a sizeof expression like sizeof(var) or sizeof(u8) etc. Turns out that nobody ever did something like *(u8 *)skb_put(skb, 2) = c; which would be wrong anyway since the second byte wouldn't be initialized. * networking: make skb_push & __skb_push return void pointersJohannes Berg2017-06-162-5/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | It seems like a historic accident that these return unsigned char *, and in many places that means casts are required, more often than not. Make these functions return void * and remove all the casts across the tree, adding a (u8 *) cast only where the unsigned char pointer was used directly, all done with the following spatch: @@ expression SKB, LEN; typedef u8; identifier fn = { skb_push, __skb_push, skb_push_rcsum }; @@ - *(fn(SKB, LEN)) + *(u8 *)fn(SKB, LEN) @@ expression E, SKB, LEN; identifier fn = { skb_push, __skb_push, skb_push_rcsum }; type T; @@ - E = ((T *)(fn(SKB, LEN))) + E = fn(SKB, LEN) @@ expression SKB, LEN; identifier fn = { skb_push, __skb_push, skb_push_rcsum }; @@ - fn(SKB, LEN)[0] + *(u8 *)fn(SKB, LEN) Note that the last part there converts from push(...)[0] to the more idiomatic *(u8 *)push(...). * networking: make skb_put & friends return void pointersJohannes Berg2017-06-161-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | It seems like a historic accident that these return unsigned char *, and in many places that means casts are required, more often than not. Make these functions (skb_put, __skb_put and pskb_put) return void * and remove all the casts across the tree, adding a (u8 *) cast only where the unsigned char pointer was used directly, all done with the following spatch: @@ expression SKB, LEN; typedef u8; identifier fn = { skb_put, __skb_put }; @@ - *(fn(SKB, LEN)) + *(u8 *)fn(SKB, LEN) @@ expression E, SKB, LEN; identifier fn = { skb_put, __skb_put }; type T; @@ - E = ((T *)(fn(SKB, LEN))) + E = fn(SKB, LEN) which actually doesn't cover pskb_put since there are only three users overall. A handful of stragglers were converted manually, notably a macro in drivers/isdn/i4l/isdn_bsdcomp.c and, oddly enough, one of the many instances in net/bluetooth/hci_sock.c. In the former file, I also had to fix one whitespace problem spatch introduced. Signed-off-by: Johannes Berg <johannes.berg@intel.com> Signed-off-by: David S. Miller <davem@davemloft.net>
* NFC: pn544: Get rid of code duplication in ->probe()Andy Shevchenko2017-04-051-67/+17
| | | | | | | | Since OF and ACPI case almost the same get rid of code duplication by moving gpiod_get() calls directly to ->probe(). Signed-off-by: Andy Shevchenko <andriy.shevchenko@linux.intel.com> Signed-off-by: Samuel Ortiz <sameo@linux.intel.com>
* NFC: pn544: Add GPIO ACPI mapping tableAndy Shevchenko2017-04-051-4/+17
| | | | | | | | | | | | In order to make GPIO ACPI library stricter prepare users of gpiod_get_index() to correctly behave when there no mapping is provided by firmware. Here we add explicit mapping between _CRS GpioIo() resources and their names used in the driver. * NFC: pn544: Convert to use GPIO descriptorAndy Shevchenko2017-04-051-93/+33
| | | | | | | | | | | Since we got rid of platform data, the driver may use GPIO descriptor directly. * NFC: pn544: Get rid of platform dataAndy Shevchenko2017-04-051-37/+6

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | When pn544_hci_i2c_acpi_request_resources() gets called we already know that the entries in ->acpi_match_table have matched ACPI ID of the device. * | NFC: pn544: use flags argument of devm_gpiod_get to set directionUwe Kleine-König2015-06-091-32/+11
|/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Since 39b2bbe3d715 (gpio: add flags argument to gpiod_get*() functions) which appeared in v3.17-rc1, the gpiod_get* functions take an additional parameter that allows to specify direction and initial value for output. Use this to simplify the driver. Furthermore this is one caller less that stops us making the flags argument to gpiod_get*() mandatory. While touching this also do some minor coding style fixes. * NFC: Remove the static supported_se fieldSamuel Ortiz2013-06-141-4/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | Supported secure elements are typically found during a discovery process initiated when the NFC controller is up and running. For a given NFC chipset there can be many configurations (embedded SE or not, with or without a SIM card wired to the NFC controller SWP interface, etc...) and thus driver code will never know before hand which SEs are available. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | NFCID2 is defined as the first 2 manufacturer ID (IDm) bytes. NFC DEP (NFC peer to peer) devices Type-F NFCID2 must start with 0x01fe according to the NFC Digital Specification. By checking those first 2 bytes we send the right command either to the reader gate when NFCID2 != 0x1fe (The NFC tag case) or to the NFCIP1 gate when seeing an NFC DEP device (The NFC peer to peer case).
