* PCI: pcie portdriver: initialize returned valueLinas Vepstas2007-11-281-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | The pcie protdrv status can be returned uninitialized, if there are no children under a device. This leads to bad responses downstream. Fix this. Signed-off-by: Linas Vepstas <linas@austin.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@suse.de>

* pcie: fix section mismatch warningSam Ravnborg2007-03-091-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | Fix following section mismatch warning (when compiled with CONFIG_HOTPLUG=n): WARNING: drivers/pci/built-in.o - Section mismatch: reference to .init.text:pcie_portdrv_probe from .data between 'pcie_portdrv' (at offset 0xe40) and 'pcie_portdrv_err_handler' This warning was fixed by renaming pcie_portdrv to pcie_portdriver so we pass the whitelist. * PCI: pcieport-driver: remove invalid warning messageKenji Kaneshige2006-12-201-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | The following warning message should not be displayed for devices which don't use an interrupt pin. pcie_portdrv_probe->Dev[XXXX:XXXX] has invalid IRQ. Check vendor BIOS Signed-off-by: Kenji Kaneshige <kaneshige.kenji@jp.fujitsu.com> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@suse.de>

I move the definition of pcie_portdrv_restore_config out of CONFIG_PM. Below patch is against 2.6.18-mm1. Could you try it? * PCIE: check and return bus_register errorsRandy Dunlap2006-09-261-2/+7
| | | | | | | | | Have pcie_port_bus_register() notice and return errors. Mark it __must_check so that its caller(s) must check its return value. Signed-off-by: Randy Dunlap <rdunlap@xenotime.net> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@suse.de>
* PCIE: cleanup on probe errorRandy Dunlap2006-08-031-1/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | If pcie_portdrv_probe() fails but it had already called pci_enable_device(), then call pci_disable_device() when returning error. Is there some reason that this isn't being done? or was it just missed? Signed-off-by: Randy Dunlap <rdunlap@xenotime.net> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@suse.de>

* [PATCH] fix missing includesTim Schmielau2005-10-301-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | I recently picked up my older work to remove unnecessary #includes of sched.h, starting from a patch by Dave Jones to not include sched.h from module.h. This reduces the number of indirect includes of sched.h by ~300. Another ~400 pointless direct includes can be removed after this disentangling (patch to follow later). However, quite a few indirect includes need to be fixed up for this. In order to feed the patches through -mm with as little disturbance as possible, I've split out the fixes I accumulated up to now (complete for i386 and x86_64, more archs to follow later) and post them before the real patch. This way this large part of the patch is kept simple with only adding #includes, and all hunks are independent of each other. So if any hunk rejects or gets in the way of other patches, just drop it. My scripts will pick it up again in the next round. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
