Use syscon/regmap to configure the smc part of the memory controller. This
allows to avoid using mach/at91rm9200_mc.h and mach/at91_ramc.h and to compile
the driver in a multiplatform configuration.

Pull ARM SoC cleanups from Olof Johansson:
"We've got a fairly large cleanup branch this time. The bulk of this
is removal of non-DT platforms of several flavors:
- Atmel at91 platforms go full-DT, with removal of remaining
board-file based support
- OMAP removes legacy board files for three more platforms
- removal of non-DT mach-msm, newer Qualcomm platforms now live in
mach-qcom
- Freescale i.MX25 also removes non-DT platform support"
Most of the rest of the changes here are fallout from the above, i.e. for
example removal of drivers that now lack platforms, etc.

The mach/io.h header on at91 is used to support a nonstandard I/O space
window for the cf card driver. This changes the driver to use pci_ioremap_io
in order to have the standard location, and then removes the custom
mach/io.h.

This reverts commit 02b03846bb2befc558bfd0665749d6bb26f4c2f1.
Alan writes:
it seems there is a regression in there for some configuration of I/O
based devices. I'll take a look at it over the next couple of kernel
releases and see what is up then resubmit it with fixes.

git://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/benh/powerpc
Pull powerpc updates from Ben Herrenschmidt:
"This is the powerpc new goodies for 3.17. The short story:
The biggest bit is Michael removing all of pre-POWER4 processor
support from the 64-bit kernel. POWER3 and rs64. This gets rid of a
ton of old cruft that has been bitrotting in a long while. It was
broken for quite a few versions already and nobody noticed. Nobody
uses those machines anymore. While at it, he cleaned up a bunch of
old dusty cabinets, getting rid of a skeletton or two.
Then, we have some base VFIO support for KVM, which allows assigning
of PCI devices to KVM guests, support for large 64-bit BARs on
"powernv" platforms, support for HMI (Hardware Management Interrupts)
on those same platforms, some sparse-vmemmap improvements (for memory
hotplug),
There is the usual batch of Freescale embedded updates (summary in the
merge commit) and fixes here or there, I think that's it for the
highlights"

This driver doesn't build, and apparently has not built since
arch/ppc was removed in 2008 (when mk_int_int_mask was removed
from asm/irq.h, among other build errors).
A few weeks ago I asked whether anyone was actively maintaining
this code, and got no positive response:
http://patchwork.ozlabs.org/patch/352082/
So, let's remove it.

The lubbock platform uses the sa1111 companion chip with a pxa250
CPU, which means it requires both the PCMCIA_SA1111 and the
PCMCIA_PXA2XX code to be built into the kernel. Unfortunately,
the Makefile and Kconfig don't agree on how this is accomplished,
leading to a situation where you get this link error when building
a lubbock kernel with PCMCIA_SA1111 enabled but PCMCIA_PXA2XX
disabled:
ERROR: "pxa2xx_configure_sockets" [drivers/pcmcia/sa1111_cs.ko] undefined!
ERROR: "pxa2xx_drv_pcmcia_ops" [drivers/pcmcia/sa1111_cs.ko] undefined!
ERROR: "pxa2xx_drv_pcmcia_add_one" [drivers/pcmcia/sa1111_cs.ko] undefined!
This patch changes the Kconfig code to disallow that particular
configuration.

The meaning of CONFIG_EMBEDDED has long since been obsoleted; the option
is used to configure any non-standard kernel with a much larger scope than
only small devices.
This patch renames the option to CONFIG_EXPERT in init/Kconfig and fixes
references to the option throughout the kernel. A new CONFIG_EMBEDDED
option is added that automatically selects CONFIG_EXPERT when enabled and
can be used in the future to isolate options that should only be
considered for embedded systems (RISC architectures, SLOB, etc).
Calling the option "EXPERT" more accurately represents its intention: only
expert users who understand the impact of the configuration changes they
are making should enable it.

The PCMCIA ioctl -- deprecated for years -- suffers from insufficient
locking. As it already has been deprecated for years, with its removal
long overdue, limit it to !SMP and !PREEMPT.
Furthermore, the last legitimate use of the ioctl to be reported
relates to the ARM architecture in 2008.[1] Attempts to resolve
this issue turned out unsuccessful so far.[2] Other usages have only
been reported as hear-say. If there are any legitiate and necessary
use-cases remaining, please speak out before the end of the grace
period until 2.6.3{5,6}(-rc1).

Rewritten XXS1500 PCMCIA socket driver, standalone (doesn't depend on
au1000_generic.c) and added carddetect IRQ support.

New PCMCIA socket driver for all Db/Pb1xxx boards (except Pb1000),
which replaces au1000_db1x00.c and (most of) au1000_pb1x00.c.
Notable improvements:
- supports Db1000, DB/PB1100/1500/1550/1200.
- support for carddetect and statuschange IRQs.
- pcmcia socket mem/io/attr areas and irqs passed through
platform resource information.
- doesn't freeze system during card insertion/ejection like
the one it replaces.
- boardtype is automatically detected using BCSR ID register.
Run-tested on the DB1200.

With CONFIG_PCMCIA=m and CONFIG_YENTA=y, we get
drivers/built-in.o: In function `yenta_probe':
yenta_socket.c:(.devinit.text+0x1e582): undefined reference to
`pccard_nonstatic_ops'
This is because
select PCCARD_NONSTATIC if PCMCIA
sets PCCARD_NONSTATIC = min(YENTA, PCMCIA). Change it to 'if PCMCIA!=n'
to remove the upper limit.

If only CardBus cards are used, but not PCMCIA cards, we do not need
the extensive resource management functions provided for by
rsrc_nonstatic.c (~240K).

The socket driver m8xx_pcmcia.c uses a static memory assignment,
but io_offset is set to 0. Therefore, it seems proper to use the
iodyn resource manager for this driver, as was previously the
case (before commit 80128ff79d282cf71b1819dbca9b8dd47d8ed3e8).

m32r_cfc sets the socket capabilities to SS_CAP_STATIC_MAP and
also sets io_offset != 0. This means no calls to
&pccard_nonstatic_ops went through. Therfore, replace it with
&pccard_static_ops which is exactly for this case.

Fix several CodingStyle issues in drivers/pcmcia/ . checkpatch.pl no longer
reports errors in the PCMCIA core. The remaining warnings mostly relate to
wrong indent -- PCMCIA historically used 4 spaces --, to lines over 80
characters and to hundreds of typedefs. The cleanup of those will follow
in the future.

The Arcom Zeus CF slot requires the same kind of support as the Viper.
To avoid code duplication, introduce a platform device that abstracts
the differences.
This also allows for the removal of the ugly export of viper_cf_rst().

This is because soc_common tries to be built-in, but it should be a module.
Allow soc_common to be a module.

Convert soc_common.c to be a stand alone module, rather than wrapping
it up into the individual SoC specific base modules. In doing this,
we need to add init/exit functions for soc_common to register/remove
the cpufreq notifier.

Make use of the dynamic debug infrastructure in various PCMCIA socket
drivers. By doing so, only the drivers relying on soc_common make use
of CONFIG_PCMCIA_DEBUG. Therefore, update the Kconfig entry accordingly.

This code has been dead for many years. The last update it received
was in 2003 in order to update it for the driver model changes, though
it had already been in disarray and unused before that point. The only
boards that ever used this chip have not had users in many years either,
so it is finally safe to just kill it off and move on with life.
