* regulator: remove locking around regulator_notifier_call_chain()Michał Mirosław2020-09-071-6/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | regulator_notifier_call_chain() doesn't need rdev lock and rdev's existence is assumed in the code anyway. Remove the locks from drivers. * regulator: lp8755: Fix notifier mutex lock warningSteve Twiss2019-03-131-3/+12
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The mutex for the regulator_dev must be controlled by the caller of the regulator_notifier_call_chain(), as described in the comment for that function. Failure to mutex lock and unlock surrounding the notifier call results in a kernel WARN_ON_ONCE() which will dump a backtrace for the regulator_notifier_call_chain() when that function call is first made. The mutex can be controlled using the regulator_lock/unlock() API. * regulator: lp8755: constify regulator_ops structureBhumika Goyal2017-01-311-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Declare regulator_ops structure as const as it is only stored in the ops field of a regulator_desc structure. This field is of type const, so regulator_ops structures having this property can be made const too. * | regulator: Remove unnecessary include of linux/delay.h from regulator driversAxel Lin2013-05-121-1/+0
|/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | All the drivers that need delay for the regulator voltage output voltage to stabilize after being enabled or after being set to a new value has been converted to implement enable_time and set_voltage_time_sel callbacks. Then regulator core will take care of the necessary delay. This patch removes the unneeded include of linux/delay.h in regulator drivers. * regulator: lp8755: Fix mask for pchip->mphaseAxel Lin2013-01-081-1/+1

* regulator: lp8755: Fix lp8755_regulator_init unwind codeAxel Lin2013-01-081-4/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | It's safe to pass NULL argument to regulator_unregister(), so we can remove the NULL checking before calling regulator_unregister(). However pass a ERR_PTR to regulator_unregister() is wrong, so we need to explicitly set "pchip->rdev[buck_num] = NULL" before goto err_buck. This patch also includes below cleanups: Show correct regulator id in dev_err. Remove __devexit_p.
