* spi: jcore: Fix trailing statements should be on next lineJay Fang2021-03-241-1/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | Fix checkpatch error: ERROR: trailing statements should be on next line #85: FILE: spi-jcore.c:85: + if (speed == hw->speed_hz) return; Signed-off-by: Jay Fang <f.fangjian@huawei.com> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/1616566602-13894-9-git-send-email-f.fangjian@huawei.com Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
* remove ioremap_nocache and devm_ioremap_nocacheChristoph Hellwig2020-01-061-1/+1
| | | | | | | | ioremap has provided non-cached semantics by default since the Linux 2.6 days, so remove the additional ioremap_nocache interface. Signed-off-by: Christoph Hellwig <hch@lst.de> Acked-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de>
* treewide: Add SPDX license identifier for more missed filesThomas Gleixner2019-05-211-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add SPDX license identifiers to all files which: - Have no license information of any form - Have MODULE_LICENCE("GPL*") inside which was used in the initial scan/conversion to ignore the file These files fall under the project license, GPL v2 only. The resulting SPDX license identifier is: GPL-2.0-only Signed-off-by: Thomas Gleixner <tglx@linutronix.de> Signed-off-by: Greg Kroah-Hartman <gregkh@linuxfoundation.org>
* spi: jcore: disable ref_clk after getting its rateAlexey Khoroshilov2018-03-181-6/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | The driver does not disable ref_clk on remove. According to the comment, the only reason to enable the clock is to get its rate. So, it should be safe to disable clk just after that. By the way, clk_prepare_enable() looks to be more appropriate than clk_enable() here. Found by Linux Driver Verification project (linuxtesting.org). Signed-off-by: Alexey Khoroshilov <khoroshilov@ispras.ru> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
* spi: jcore: disable clock when registering spi conroller failedTakuo Koguchi2017-12-131-1/+3
| | | | | | | | | | When probe function fails in registering the spi controller, the clock should remain disabled. Found by Linux Driver Verification project (linuxtesting.org). Signed-off-by: Takuo Koguchi <takuo.koguchi.sw@hitachi.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
* spi: jcore: Fix module autoload for OF registrationJavier Martinez Canillas2016-11-231-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | If the driver is built as a module, autoload won't work because the module alias information is not filled. So user-space can't match the registered device with the corresponding module. Export the module alias information using the MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE() macro. Before this patch: $ modinfo drivers/spi/spi-jcore.ko | grep alias alias: platform:jcore_spi After this patch: $ modinfo drivers/spi/spi-jcore.ko | grep alias alias: platform:jcore_spi alias: of:N*T*Cjcore,spi2C* alias: of:N*T*Cjcore,spi2 Signed-off-by: Javier Martinez Canillas <javier@osg.samsung.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
* spi: jcore: remove unnecessary platform_set_drvdata()Wei Yongjun2016-08-091-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | The driver core clears the driver data to NULL after device_release or on probe failure. Thus, it is not needed to manually clear the device driver data to NULL. Signed-off-by: Wei Yongjun <weiyj.lk@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
* spi: add driver for J-Core SPI controllerRich Felker2016-08-081-0/+232
The J-Core "spi2" device is a PIO-based SPI master controller. It differs from "bitbang" devices in that that it's clocked in hardware rather than via soft clock modulation over gpio, and performs byte-at-a-time transfers between the cpu and SPI controller. This driver will be extended to support future versions of the J-Core SPI controller with DMA transfers when they become available.
