* fb-defio: Inhibit VM_IO flag to be set on vmalloc-ed framebuffers.Konrad Rzeszutek Wilk2009-12-031-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | The framebuffers (screenbase) these drivers present are actually vmalloc-ed pages. There is no need for them to have the VM_IO flag set. * metronomefb: Fix warning when building 64bitAlan Cox2008-10-151-1/+1
| | | | | | | | The metronome driver produces warnings when built on x86-64 as it assumes that size_t is an int. Use %Zd instead. Signed-off-by: Alan Cox <alan@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>
* [ARM] 5209/1: metronomefb: changes to use platform framebufferJaya Kumar2008-08-261-107/+134
| | | | | | | | | | | These changes are used in order to support the use of the framebuffer provided by the platform device driver rather than to directly allocate one. Other changes are cleanup to error handling and order of release. * fbdev: metronomefb bugfixJaya Kumar2008-04-281-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | This patch is a bugfix for the use of cfb_* functions instead of sys_* functions. sys_* should be used with vmalloced framebuffers. the previous cfb_ use would not work for callers of imageblit/etc. Signed-off-by: Jaya Kumar <jayakumar.lkml@gmail.com> Cc: "Antonino A. * fbdev: defio and MetronomefbJaya Kumar2008-03-191-0/+999
Implement support for the E-Ink Metronome controller. It provides an mmapable interface to the controller using defio support. It was tested with a gumstix pxa255 with Vizplex media using Xfbdev and various X clients such as xeyes, xpdf, xloadimage. This patch also fixes the following bug: Defio would cause a hang on write access to the framebuffer as the page fault would be called ad-infinitum. It fixes fb_defio by setting the mapping to be used by page_mkclean. Signed-off-by: Jaya Kumar <jayakumar.lkml@gmail.com> Cc: "Antonino A.
