* NFS: nfsacl_{encode,decode} should return signed integerChuck Lever2011-01-251-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Clean up. The nfsacl_encode() and nfsacl_decode() functions return negative errno values, and each call site verifies that the returned value is not negative. Change the synopsis of both of these functions to reflect this usage. Document the synopsis and return values. * nfsd: Fix independence of a few nfsd related headersBoaz Harrosh2009-12-141-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | An header should be compilation independent, .i.e pull in any header who's declarations are directly used by this header. And not let users re-include all it's dependencies all over again. [At the end of the day what's the use of a header if it does not have more then one user?] Signed-off-by: Boaz Harrosh <bharrosh@panasas.com> Signed-off-by: J. Bruce Fields <bfields@citi.umich.edu>
* NFSv3: Fix posix ACL codeTrond Myklebust2009-03-101-0/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Fix a memory leak due to allocation in the XDR layer. In cases where the RPC call needs to be retransmitted, we end up allocating new pages without clearing the old ones. Fix this by moving the allocation into nfs3_proc_setacls(). Also fix an issue discovered by Kevin Rudd, whereby the amount of memory reserved for the acls in the xdr_buf->head was miscalculated, and causing corruption. * [PATCH] NFSD: Add server support for NFSv3 ACLs.Andreas Gruenbacher2005-06-221-0/+58
This adds functions for encoding and decoding POSIX ACLs for the NFSACL protocol extension, and the GETACL and SETACL RPCs. The implementation is compatible with NFSACL in Solaris.
