* net: wan: Delete the DLCI / SDLA driversXie He2020-11-171-240/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The DLCI driver (dlci.c) implements the Frame Relay protocol. However, we already have another newer and better implementation of Frame Relay provided by the HDLC_FR driver (hdlc_fr.c). The DLCI driver's implementation of Frame Relay is used by only one hardware driver in the kernel - the SDLA driver (sdla.c). The SDLA driver provides Frame Relay support for the Sangoma S50x devices. However, the vendor provides their own driver (along with their own multi-WAN-protocol implementations including Frame Relay), called WANPIPE. I believe most users of the hardware would use the vendor-provided WANPIPE driver instead. (The WANPIPE driver was even once in the kernel, but was deleted in commit 8db60bcf3021 ("[WAN]: Remove broken and unmaintained Sangoma drivers.") because the vendor no longer updated the in-kernel WANPIPE driver.) * include/linux/sdla.h: remove the prototype of sdla()WANG Cong2011-07-181-5/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | `make headers_check` complains that linux-2.6/usr/include/linux/sdla.h:116: userspace cannot reference function or variable defined in the kernel this is due to that there is no such a kernel function, void sdla(void *cfg_info, char *dev, struct frad_conf *conf, int quiet); I don't know why we have it in a kernel header, so remove it. * [PATCH] Eliminate __attribute__ ((packed)) warnings for gcc-4.1Jan Blunck2006-01-081-32/+32
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Since version 4.1 the gcc is warning about ignored attributes. This patch is using the equivalent attribute on the struct instead of on each of the structure or union members. GCC Manual: "Specifying Attributes of Types packed This attribute, attached to struct or union type definition, specifies that each member of the structure or union is placed to minimize the memory required. When attached to an enum definition, it indicates that the smallest integral type should be used. Specifying this attribute for struct and union types is equivalent to specifying the packed attribute on each of the structure or union members." Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
