* ALSA: seq: potential out of bounds in do_control()Dan Carpenter2015-02-121-0/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Smatch complains that "control" is user specifigy and needs to be capped. The call tree to understand this warning is quite long. snd_seq_write() <-- get the event from the user snd_seq_client_enqueue_event() snd_seq_deliver_event() deliver_to_subscribers() snd_seq_deliver_single_event() snd_opl3_oss_event_input() snd_midi_process_event() do_control() Signed-off-by: Dan Carpenter <dan.carpenter@oracle.com> Signed-off-by: Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.de>
* ALSA: seq: Use standard printk helpersTakashi Iwai2014-02-141-3/+3
| | | | | | Use the standard pr_xxx() helpers instead of home-baked snd_print*(). Signed-off-by: Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.de>
* sound: Add module.h to the previously silent sound usersPaul Gortmaker2011-10-311-0/+1
| | | | | | | | Lots of sound drivers were getting module.h via the implicit presence of it in <linux/device.h> but we are going to clean that up. So fix up those users now. Signed-off-by: Paul Gortmaker <paul.gortmaker@windriver.com>
* [ALSA] Remove sound/driver.hTakashi Iwai2008-01-311-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | This header file exists only for some hacks to adapt alsa-driver tree. It's useless for building in the kernel. Let's move a few lines in it to sound/core.h and remove it. With this patch, sound/driver.h isn't removed but has just a single compile warning to include it. This should be really killed in future. * [ALSA] Remove sequencer instrument layerTakashi Iwai2008-01-311-7/+0
| | | | | | | | | | Remove sequencer instrument layer from the tree. This mechanism hasn't been used much with the actual devices. The only reasonable user was OPL3 loader, and now it was rewritten to use hwdep instead. So, let's remove the rest of rotten codes. Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
