* ALSA: msnd: Use proper mmap methodTakashi Iwai2021-08-091-2/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | The old ISA MSND driver basically maps the iomem as the DMA buffer. For this type of buffer, we have already the standard mmap helper, snd_pcm_lib_mmap_iomem(). Correct the PCM info, set the DMA address and use the standard helper for handling the mmap on all architectures properly. * ALSA: isa: Drop superfluous ioctl PCM opsTakashi Iwai2019-12-111-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | PCM core deals the empty ioctl field now as default(*). Let's kill the redundant lines. (*) commit fc033cbf6fb7 ("ALSA: pcm: Allow NULL ioctl ops") Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20191210061145.24641-8-tiwai@suse.de Signed-off-by: Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.de>

* ALSA: msnd: Add missing __iomem annotationsTakashi Iwai2018-07-261-9/+9
| | | | | | | | | The io-mapped buffers used in msnd drivers need __iomem annotations. This fixes sparse warnings like: sound/isa/msnd/msnd_pinnacle.c:172:45: warning: incorrect type in initializer (different address spaces) Signed-off-by: Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.de>
* ALSA: isa: make snd_pcm_hardware constBhumika Goyal2017-08-171-2/+2
| | | | | | | | Make these const as they are only used in a copy operation. Done using Coccinelle. Signed-off-by: Bhumika Goyal <bhumirks@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.de>
* ALSA: msnd: constify snd_pcm_ops structuresArvind Yadav2017-08-121-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | snd_pcm_ops are not supposed to change at runtime. All functions working with snd_pcm_ops provided by <sound/pcm.h> work with const snd_pcm_ops. So mark the non-const structs as const. Signed-off-by: Arvind Yadav <arvind.yadav.cs@gmail.com> Signed-off-by: Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.de>

* ALSA: msnd: Remove always NULL parameterLars-Peter Clausen2015-01-021-5/+1
| | | | | | | | | snd_msnd_pcm() takes a pointer to a pointer of a PCM where if this parameter is provided the newly allocated PCM is stored. All callers pass NULL though, so remove the parameter. This makes the code a bit cleaner and shorter. Signed-off-by: Lars-Peter Clausen <lars@metafoo.de> Signed-off-by: Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.de>
* sound: Add module.h to the previously silent sound usersPaul Gortmaker2011-10-311-0/+1
| | | | | | | | Lots of sound drivers were getting module.h via the implicit presence of it in <linux/device.h> but we are going to clean that up. So fix up those users now. Signed-off-by: Paul Gortmaker <paul.gortmaker@windriver.com>

| | | | | | | Added SNDRV_PCM_INFO_BATCH flag to PCM info field of some drivers that really don't give the precise pointer value. Signed-off-by: Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.de>
