* ALSA: vx: Constify snd_vx_hardware and snd_vx_ops definitionsTakashi Iwai2020-01-031-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | Both snd_vx_hardware and snd_vx_ops are only referred without modification, hence they can be constified gracefully for further optimizations. There should be no functional changes by this patch. Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/20200103081714.9560-31-tiwai@suse.de Signed-off-by: Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.de>

* ALSA: vxpocket: Use container_of()Takashi Iwai2017-05-171-0/+2
| | | | | | | | The vxpocket driver is using the explicit cast from the parent class pointer, but it'll be broken when the structure field randomization is applied. Use container_of() in a modern manner, instead. Signed-off-by: Takashi Iwai <tiwai@suse.de>
* pcmcia: convert pcmcia_request_configuration to pcmcia_enable_deviceDominik Brodowski2010-09-291-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | pcmcia_enable_device() now replaces pcmcia_request_configuration(). Instead of config_req_t, all necessary flags are either passed as a parameter to pcmcia_enable_device(), or (in rare circumstances) set in struct pcmcia_device -> flags. With the last remaining user of include/pcmcia/cs.h gone, remove all references. * pcmcia: remove cs_types.hDominik Brodowski2010-07-301-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Remove cs_types.h which is no longer needed: Most definitions aren't used at all, a few can be made away with, and two remaining definitions (typedefs, unfortunatley) may be moved to more specific places. * pcmcia: dev_node removal (write-only drivers)Dominik Brodowski2010-05-101-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | dev_node_t was only used to transport some minor/major numbers from the PCMCIA device drivers to deprecated userspace helpers. However, only a few drivers made use of it, and the userspace helpers are deprecated anyways. Therefore, get rid of dev_node_t . As a first step, remove any usage of dev_node_t from drivers which only wrote to this typedef/struct, but did not make use of it. * [PATCH] pcmcia: embed dev_link_t into struct pcmcia_deviceDominik Brodowski2006-03-311-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | Embed dev_link_t into struct pcmcia_device(), as they basically address the same entity. The actual contents of dev_link_t will be cleaned up step by step. This patch includes a bugfix from and signed-off-by Andrew Morton. Signed-off-by: Dominik Brodowski <linux@dominikbrodowski.net>

Initial git repository build. I'm not bothering with the full history, even though we have it. We can create a separate "historical" git archive of that later if we want to, and in the meantime it's about 3.2GB when imported into git - space that would just make the early git days unnecessarily complicated, when we don't have a lot of good infrastructure for it. Let it rip!
