* Documentation: kunit: Update Kconfig parts for KUNIT's module supportSeongJae Park2020-10-262-1/+6
| | | | | | | | | | | | If 'CONFIG_KUNIT=m', letting kunit tests that do not support loadable module build depends on 'KUNIT' instead of 'KUNIT=y' result in compile errors. This commit updates the document for this. * Documentation: kunit: Add naming guidelinesDavid Gow2020-10-092-0/+206
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | As discussed in [1], KUnit tests have hitherto not had a particularly consistent naming scheme. This adds documentation outlining how tests and test suites should be named, including how those names should be used in Kconfig entries and filenames. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The --defconfig option in kunit_tool was removed in [1], but the getting started and kunit_tool documentation still encouraged its use. Update those documents to reflect that it's no-longer required, and is the default behaviour if no .kunitconfig is found. Also update a couple of places where .kunitconfig is still referred to as kunitconfig (this was changed in [2]). | | | | | | | | | | | | The kunit doc suggests users to get the default `kunitconfig` from an external git tree. However, the file is already located under the `arch/um/configs/` of the kernel tree. Because the local file is easier to access and maintain, this commit updates the doc to use it. * Documentation: kunit: Fix verification commandSeongJae Park2019-10-071-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | kunit wrapper script ('kunit.py') receives a sub-command (only 'run' for now) as its argument. If no sub-command is given, it prints help message and just quit.
