* dt-bindings: Add missing 'unevaluatedProperties'Rob Herring2020-10-071-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This doesn't yet do anything in the tools, but make it explicit so we can check either 'unevaluatedProperties' or 'additionalProperties' is present in schemas. 'unevaluatedProperties' is appropriate when including another schema (via '$ref') and all possible properties and/or child nodes are not explicitly listed in the schema with the '$ref'. This is in preparation to add a meta-schema to check for missing 'unevaluatedProperties' or 'additionalProperties'. This has been a constant source of review issues. * dt-bindings: Remove cases of 'allOf' containing a '$ref'Rob Herring2020-05-031-14/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | json-schema versions draft7 and earlier have a weird behavior in that any keywords combined with a '$ref' are ignored (silently). The correct form was to put a '$ref' under an 'allOf'. This behavior is now changed in the 2019-09 json-schema spec and '$ref' can be mixed with other keywords. The json-schema library doesn't yet support this, but the tooling now does a fixup for this and either way works. This has been a constant source of review comments, so let's change this treewide so everyone copies the simpler syntax. Scripted with ruamel.yaml with some manual fixups. Some minor whitespace changes from the script. * dt-bindings: Clean-up schema indentation formattingRob Herring2020-04-161-4/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Fix various inconsistencies in schema indentation. Most of these are list indentation which should be 2 spaces more than the start of the enclosing keyword. This doesn't matter functionally, but affects running scripts which do transforms on the schema files. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | In UDMA each channel can use different ATYPE value which tells UDMA how the addresses in the descriptors should be treated: 0: pointers are physical addresses (no translation) 1: pointers are intermediate addresses (PVU) 2: pointers are virtual addresses (SMMU) When virtualized environment is used then the dma binding should use additional cell to configure the desired ATYPE for the channel.
