"This branch contains the following changes:
- Removal of CONFIG_OF_DEVICE, it is always enabled by CONFIG_OF
- Remove #ifdef from linux/of_platform.h to increase compiler syntax
coverage
- Bug fix for address decoding on Bimini and js2x powerpc platforms.
- miscellaneous binding changes
One note on the above. The binding changes going in from all kinds of
different trees has gotten rather out of hand. I picked up some
during this cycle, but even going though my tree isn't a great fit.
Ian Campbell has prototyped splitting the bindings and .dtb files into
a separate repository. The plan is to migrate to using that sometime
in the next few kernel releases which should get rid of a lot of the
churn on binding docs and .dts files"

The OLPC XO-1.75 and XO-4 laptops include a PS/2 touchpad and an AT
keyboard, yet they do not have a hardware PS/2 controller. Instead, a
firmware runs on a dedicated core ("Security Processor", part of the SoC)
that acts as a PS/2 controller through bit-banging.
Communication between the main cpu (Application Processor) and the
Security Processor happens via a standard command mechanism implemented
by the SoC. Add a driver for this interface to enable keyboard/mouse
input on this platform.

This is effectively already in force through input_mt_init_slots, and uinput
too ignores the actual minimum.
Since slots are a kernel-genenerated axis only, non-zero minimums make
little sense and are likely to cause errors. Better to treat a non-zero
minimum as kernel bug if it ever happens.

This commit adds checking whether clock-frequency property acquisition
has succeeded. If not, the frequency is set to 100kHz by default.

Balance-Boards provide 3 16bit calibration values for each of the 4
sensors. We provide these now as 192bit value via a new "bboard_calib"
sysfs attribute.
We also re-read the calibration data from the device whenever user-space
attempts to read this file. On normal Nintendo boards, this always
produces the same results, however, on some 3rd party devices these values
change until the device is fully initialized. As I have currently no idea
how long to wait until it's ready (sometimes takes up to 10s?) we provide
a simple workaround for users by reading this file.
If we, at some point, figure out how it works, we can implement it in the
kernel and provide offline data via "bboard_calib". This won't break
user-space then.

Two new attributes, "extension" and "devtype" now allow user-space to read
the extension type and device type. As device detection is asynchronous,
we send a CHANGED event after it is done. This also allows user-space to
wait for a device to settle before opening its input event devices.
The "extension" device is compatible with the old "extension" sysfs field
(which was registered by the static extension support code).

MD: Remember the last sync operation that was performed
This patch adds a field to the mddev structure to track the last
sync operation that was performed. This is especially useful when
it comes to what is recorded in mismatch_cnt in sysfs. If the
last operation was "data-check", then it reports the number of
descrepancies found by the user-initiated check. If it was a
"repair" operation, then it is reporting the number of
descrepancies repaired. etc.

DM RAID: Add ability to restore transiently failed devices on resume
This patch adds code to the resume function to check over the devices
in the RAID array. If any are found to be marked as failed and their
superblocks can be read, an attempt is made to reintegrate them into
the array. This allows the user to refresh the array with a simple
suspend and resume of the array - rather than having to load a
completely new table, allocate and initialize all the structures and
throw away the old instantiation.

"This is the powerpc changes for the 3.11 merge window. In addition to
the usual bug fixes and small updates, the main highlights are:
- Support for transparent huge pages by Aneesh Kumar for 64-bit
server processors. This allows the use of 16M pages as transparent
huge pages on kernels compiled with a 64K base page size.
- Base VFIO support for KVM on power by Alexey Kardashevskiy
- Wiring up of our nvram to the pstore infrastructure, including
putting compressed oopses in there by Aruna Balakrishnaiah
- Move, rework and improve our "EEH" (basically PCI error handling
and recovery) infrastructure. It is no longer specific to pseries
but is now usable by the new "powernv" platform as well (no
hypervisor) by Gavin Shan.
- I fixed some bugs in our math-emu instruction decoding and made it
usable to emulate some optional FP instructions on processors with
hard FP that lack them (such as fsqrt on Freescale embedded
processors).
- Support for Power8 "Event Based Branch" facility by Michael
Ellerman. This facility allows what is basically "userspace
interrupts" for performance monitor events.
- A bunch of Transactional Memory vs. Signals bug fixes and HW
breakpoint/watchpoint fixes by Michael Neuling.

The Interlaken is a narrow, high speed channelized chip-to-chip interface. To
facilitate interoperability between a data path device and a look-aside
co-processor, the Interlaken Look-Aside protocol is defined for short
transaction-related transfers. Although based on the Interlaken protocol,
Interlaken Look-Aside is not directly compatible with Interlaken and can be
considered a different operation mode.
The Interlaken LA controller connects internal platform to Interlaken serial
interface. It accepts LA command through software portals, which are system
memory mapped 4KB spaces. The LA commands are then translated into the
Interlaken control words and data words, which are sent on TX side to TCAM
through SerDes lanes.

Add support for EBB (Event Based Branches) on 64-bit book3s. See the
included documentation for more details.
EBBs are a feature which allows the hardware to branch directly to a
specified user space address when a PMU event overflows. This can be
used by programs for self-monitoring with no kernel involvement in the
inner loop.
Most of the logic is in the generic book3s code, primarily to avoid a
proliferation of PMU callbacks.

VFIO implements platform independent stuff such as
a PCI driver, BAR access (via read/write on a file descriptor
or direct mapping when possible) and IRQ signaling.
The platform dependent part includes IOMMU initialization
and handling. This implements an IOMMU driver for VFIO
which does mapping/unmapping pages for the guest IO and
provides information about DMA window (required by a POWER
guest).
