* ARM: davinci: defconfig: enable EDMA driverSekhar Nori2013-07-161-0/+2
| | | | | | | | Enable EDMA dmaengine driver by default in DaVinci defconfig files as it is required for DMA support on MMC/SD, SPI etc. Signed-off-by: Sekhar Nori <nsekhar@ti.com>
* ARM: davinci: defconfig: enable CGROUPSSekhar Nori2013-03-191-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | Newer filesystems like Fedora-18 don't support kernels where cgroups is not enabled. Enable it in defconfig so users don't have to enable it themselves. Signed-off-by: Sekhar Nori <nsekhar@ti.com>

* | ARM: davinci: defconfig: enable pm_runtimeSekhar Nori2013-01-041-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | PM_RUNTIME is supported on DaVinci since v3.6. Enable it by default now. Signed-off-by: Sekhar Nori <nsekhar@ti.com>
* | ARM: davinci: defconfig: enable devtmpfs and devtmpfs automountSekhar Nori2013-01-041-0/+2
|/ | | | | | | | | | | | | Since udev-176, udev no longer creates device nodes under /dev and this has to be managed by the kernel devtmpfs filesystem. This means that a kernel built with the current defconfigs will not boot on a system with a recent udev. Also, enable automatic mounting of /dev for filesystems which don't manually mount it. * kconfig: rename CONFIG_EMBEDDED to CONFIG_EXPERTDavid Rientjes2011-01-201-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The meaning of CONFIG_EMBEDDED has long since been obsoleted; the option is used to configure any non-standard kernel with a much larger scope than only small devices. This patch renames the option to CONFIG_EXPERT in init/Kconfig and fixes references to the option throughout the kernel. A new CONFIG_EMBEDDED option is added that automatically selects CONFIG_EXPERT when enabled and can be used in the future to isolate options that should only be considered for embedded systems (RISC architectures, SLOB, etc). Calling the option "EXPERT" more accurately represents its intention: only expert users who understand the impact of the configuration changes they are making should enable it. * davinci: Initial support for Omapl138-HawkboardVictor Rodriguez2010-09-241-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch adds initial support for the Hawkboard-L138 system It is under the machine name "omapl138_hawkboard". This system is based on the da850 davinci CPU architecture. Information on these system may be found at http://www.hawkboard.org. Basic support for the UART console is included in this patch. It's tested with latest Angstrom File Systems like ramdisk from http://alturl.com/imb45.
