* ARM: dma-mapping: convert ARCH_HAS_DMA_SET_COHERENT_MASK to kconfig symbolRob Herring2012-03-251-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The only users of ARCH_HAS_DMA_SET_COHERENT_MASK are 2 ARM platforms: ixp4xx and pxa cm_x2xx. We've been getting lucky that the define is implicitly included before dma-mapping.h, but the removal of io.h broke things (c334bc1 ARM: make mach/io.h include optional). Since memory.h is the correct place, but no longer exists, convert the define to a kconfig entry. * ARM: convert PCI defines to variablesRob Herring2011-07-121-3/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Convert PCIBIOS_MIN_IO and PCIBIOS_MIN_MEM to variables to allow multi-platform builds. This also removes the requirement for a platform to have a mach/hardware.h. The default values for i/o and mem are 0x1000 and 0x01000000, respectively. Per Arnd Bergmann, other values are likely to be incorrect, but this commit does not try to address that issue. * arm: fix "arm: fix pci_set_consistent_dma_mask for dmabounce devices"FUJITA Tomonori2010-09-221-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This fixes the regression caused by the commit 6fee48cd330c68 ("dma-mapping: arm: use generic pci_set_dma_mask and pci_set_consistent_dma_mask"). ARM needs to clip the dma coherent mask for dmabounce devices. This restores the old trick. Note that strictly speaking, the DMA API doesn't allow architectures to do such but I'm not sure it's worth adding the new API to set the dma mask that allows architectures to clip it. * IXP4xx: Extend PCI MMIO indirect address space to 1 GB.Krzysztof Hałasa2009-12-051-1/+7
| | | | | | | | | IXP4xx CPUs can indirectly access the whole 4 GB PCI MMIO address space (using the non-prefetch registers). Previously the available space depended on the CPU variant, since one of the IXP43x platforms needed more than the usual 128 MB. 1 GB should be enough for everyone, and if not, we can trivially increase it.
