* [S390] Randomize PIEsHeiko Carstens2011-01-121-1/+3
| | | | | | | | Randomize ELF_ET_DYN_BASE, which is used when loading position independent executables. Signed-off-by: Heiko Carstens <heiko.carstens@de.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Martin Schwidefsky <schwidefsky@de.ibm.com>
* [S390] Randomise the brk regionHeiko Carstens2011-01-121-0/+3
| | | | | | | Randomize heap address like other architectures do already. Signed-off-by: Heiko Carstens <heiko.carstens@de.ibm.com> Signed-off-by: Martin Schwidefsky <schwidefsky@de.ibm.com>
* [S390] mmap: consider stack address randomizationHeiko Carstens2011-01-121-0/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | Consider stack address randomization when calulating mmap_base for flexible mmap layout . Because of address randomization the stack address can be up to 8MB lower than STACK_TOP. When calculating mmap_base this isn't taken into account, which could lead to the case that the gap between the real stack top and mmap_base is lower than what ulimit specifies for the maximum stack size. * elf: kill USE_ELF_CORE_DUMPChristoph Hellwig2009-12-161-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | Currently all architectures but microblaze unconditionally define USE_ELF_CORE_DUMP. The microblaze omission seems like an error to me, so let's kill this ifdef and make sure we are the same everywhere. * [S390] 64-bit register support for 31-bit processesHeiko Carstens2009-10-061-0/+12

* [S390] personality: fix personality loss on execveHeiko Carstens2009-01-231-8/+8
| | | | | | | | | | | Use the personality() macro to mask out all bits that are not relevant for the personality type. The personality field contains bits for other things as well, so without masking out the not relevalent bits the comparison won't do what is expected. * [S390] introduce vdso on s390Martin Schwidefsky2008-12-251-0/+16
| | | | | | | Add a vdso to speed up gettimeofday and clock_getres/clock_gettime for CLOCK_REALTIME/CLOCK_MONOTONIC. Signed-off-by: Martin Schwidefsky <schwidefsky@de.ibm.com>
* [PATCH] remove unused ibcs2/PER_SVR4 in SET_PERSONALITYMartin Schwidefsky2008-10-161-5/+3
| | | | | | | | The SET_PERSONALITY macro is always called with a second argument of 0. Remove the ibcs argument and the various tests to set the PER_SVR4 personality. Signed-off-by: Martin Schwidefsky <schwidefsky@de.ibm.com>
