* PCI: Add arch_can_pci_mmap_io() on architectures which can mmap() I/O spaceDavid Woodhouse2017-04-181-1/+2
| | | | | | | | This is relatively esoteric, and knowing that we don't have it makes life easier in some cases rather than just an eventual -EINVAL from pci_mmap_page_range(). Signed-off-by: David Woodhouse <dwmw@amazon.co.uk> Signed-off-by: Bjorn Helgaas <bhelgaas@google.com>
* PCI: Move multiple declarations of pci_mmap_page_range() to <linux/pci.h>David Woodhouse2017-04-181-4/+0
| | | | | | | | We can declare it <linux/pci.h> even on platforms where it isn't going to be defined. There's no need to have it littered through the various <asm/pci.h> files. Signed-off-by: David Woodhouse <dwmw@amazon.co.uk> Signed-off-by: Bjorn Helgaas <bhelgaas@google.com>
* PCI: Move pci_dma_* helpers to common codeChristoph Hellwig2016-03-071-3/+0
| | | | | | | | | | For a long time all architectures implement the pci_dma_* functions using the generic DMA API, and they all use the same header to do so. Move this header, pci-dma-compat.h, to include/linux and include it from the generic pci.h instead of having each arch duplicate this include. * remove <asm/scatterlist.h>Christoph Hellwig2015-05-051-1/+1
| | | | | | | | We don't have any arch specific scatterlist now that parisc switched over to the generic one. Signed-off-by: Christoph Hellwig <hch@lst.de> Signed-off-by: Jens Axboe <axboe@fb.com>
* PCI: Turn pcibios_penalize_isa_irq() into a weak functionHanjun Guo2014-05-271-5/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | pcibios_penalize_isa_irq() is only implemented by x86 now, and legacy ISA is not used by some architectures. Make pcibios_penalize_isa_irq() a __weak function to simplify the code. This removes the need for new platforms to add stub implementations of pcibios_penalize_isa_irq(). * xtensa: clean up files to make them code-style compliantChris Zankel2012-12-181-1/+1
| | | | | | | Remove heading and trailing spaces, trim trailing lines, and wrap lines that are longer than 80 characters. Signed-off-by: Chris Zankel <chris@zankel.net>
* PCI: Xtensa: convert pcibios_set_master() to a non-inlined functionMyron Stowe2012-01-061-5/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch converts Xtensa's architecture-specific 'pcibios_set_master()' routine to a non-inlined function. This will allow follow on patches to create a generic 'pcibios_set_master()' function using the '__weak' attribute which can be used by all architectures as a default which, if necessary, can then be over- ridden by architecture-specific code. Converting 'pci_bios_set_master()' to a non-inlined function will allow Xtensa's 'pcibios_set_master()' implementation to remain architecture-specific after the generic version is introduced and thus, not change current behavior. No functional change. Signed-off-by: Myron Stowe <myron.stowe@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Jesse Barnes <jbarnes@virtuousgeek.org>
* pci-dma: add linux/pci-dma.h to linux/pci.hFUJITA Tomonori2010-03-121-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | All the architectures properly set NEED_DMA_MAP_STATE now so we can safely add linux/pci-dma.h to linux/pci.h and remove the linux/pci-dma.h inclusion in arch's asm/pci.h Signed-off-by: FUJITA Tomonori <fujita.tomonori@lab.ntt.co.jp> Acked-by: Arnd Bergmann <arnd@arndb.de> Cc: Jesse Barnes <jbarnes@virtuousgeek.org> Signed-off-by: Andrew Morton <akpm@linux-foundation.org> Signed-off-by: Linus Torvalds <torvalds@linux-foundation.org>

* xtensa: move headers files to arch/xtensa/includeChris Zankel2008-11-061-0/+82
Move all header files for xtensa to arch/xtensa/include and platform and variant header files to the appropriate arch/xtensa/platforms/ and arch/xtensa/variants/ directories. Moving the files gets also rid of all uses of symlinks in the Makefile. This has been completed already for the majority of the architectures and xtensa is one out of six missing.
