Print the AGP bridge info the same way as the rest of the kernel, e.g.,
"0000:00:04.0" instead of "00:04:00".
Also print the AGP aperture address range the same way we print resources,
and label it explicitly as a bus address range.
No functional change except the message changes.

Bodo reported that on the Asrock M3A UCC, v3.12.6 hangs during boot unless
he uses "pci=nocrs". This regression was caused by 7bc5e3f2be32 ("x86/PCI:
use host bridge _CRS info by default on 2008 and newer machines"), which
appeared in v2.6.34.
The reason is that the HPET address appears in a PCI device BAR, and this
address is not contained in any of the host bridge windows. Linux moves
the PCI BAR into a window, but the original address was published via the
HPET table and an ACPI device, so changing the BAR is a bad idea. Here's
the dmesg info:
ACPI: HPET id: 0x43538301 base: 0xfed00000
pci_root PNP0A03:00: host bridge window [mem 0xd0000000-0xdfffffff]
pci_root PNP0A03:00: host bridge window [mem 0xf0000000-0xfebfffff]
pci 0000:00:14.0: [1002:4385] type 0 class 0x000c05
pci 0000:00:14.0: reg 14: [mem 0xfed00000-0xfed003ff]
hpet0: at MMIO 0xfed00000, IRQs 2, 8, 0, 0
pnp 00:06: Plug and Play ACPI device, IDs PNP0103 (active)
pnp 00:06: [mem 0xfed00000-0xfed003ff]
When we notice the BAR is not in a host bridge window, we try to move it,
but that causes a hang shortly thereafter:
pci 0000:00:14.0: no compatible bridge window for [mem 0xfed00000-0xfed003ff]
pci 0000:00:14.0: BAR 1: assigned [mem 0xf0000000-0xf00003ff]
This patch marks the BAR as IORESOURCE_PCI_FIXED to prevent Linux from
moving it. This depends on a previous patch ("x86/PCI: Don't try to move
IORESOURCE_PCI_FIXED resources") to check for this flag when
pci_claim_resource() fails.

In the expression "word1 << 16", word1 starts as u16, but is promoted to
a signed int, then sign-extended to resource_size_t, which is probably
not what was intended. Cast to resource_size_t to avoid the sign
extension.

dma_declare_coherent_memory() needs both the CPU physical address and the
bus address of the device memory. They are the same on this platform, but
in general we should use pcibios_resource_to_bus() to account for any
address translation done by the PCI host bridge.
This makes no difference on Dreamcast, but is safer if the usage is copied
to future drivers.

Commit 8f619b5429d9 ("powerpc/ppc64: Do not turn AIL (reloc-on
interrupts) too early") added code to set the AIL bit in the LPCR
without checking whether the kernel is running in hypervisor mode. The
result is that when the kernel is running as a guest (i.e., under
PowerKVM or PowerVM), the processor takes a privileged instruction
interrupt at that point, causing a panic. The visible result is that
the kernel hangs after printing "returning from prom_init".
This fixes it by checking for hypervisor mode being available before
setting LPCR. If we are not in hypervisor mode, we enable relocation-on
interrupts later in pSeries_setup_arch using the H_SET_MODE hcall.

The syscall.h headers were including linux/audit.h but really only
needed the uapi/linux/audit.h to get the requisite defines. Switch to
the uapi headers.

Every caller of syscall_get_arch() uses current for the task and no
implementors of the function need args. So just get rid of both of
those things. Admittedly, since these are inline functions we aren't
wasting stack space, but it just makes the prototypes better.

depends on AUDIT && (X86 || PARISC || PPC || S390 || IA64 || UML ||

Currently cpufreq frequency table has two fields: frequency and driver_data.
driver_data is only for drivers' internal use and cpufreq core shouldn't use
it at all. But with the introduction of BOOST frequencies, this assumption
was broken and we started using it as a flag instead.
There are two problems due to this:
- It is against the description of this field, as driver's data is used by
the core now.
- if drivers fill it with -3 for any frequency, then those frequencies are
never considered by cpufreq core as it is exactly same as value of
CPUFREQ_BOOST_FREQ, i.e. ~2.
The best way to get this fixed is by creating another field flags which
will be used for such flags. This patch does that. Along with that various
drivers need modifications due to the change of struct cpufreq_frequency_table.

Backend driver to dynamically set voltage and frequency on
IBM POWER non-virtualized platforms. Power management SPRs
are used to set the required PState.
This driver works in conjunction with cpufreq governors
like 'ondemand' to provide a demand based frequency and
voltage setting on IBM POWER non-virtualized platforms.
PState table is obtained from OPAL v3 firmware through device
tree.
powernv_cpufreq back-end driver would parse the relevant device-tree
nodes and initialise the cpufreq subsystem on powernv platform.
The code was originally written by svaidy@linux.vnet.ibm.com. Over
time it was modified to accomodate bug-fixes as well as updates to the
the cpu-freq core. Relevant portions of the change logs corresponding
to those modifications are noted below:
* The policy->cpus needs to be populated in a hotplug-invariant
manner instead of using cpu_sibling_mask() which varies with
cpu-hotplug. This is because the cpufreq core code copies this
content into policy->related_cpus mask which should not vary on
cpu-hotplug. [Authored by srivatsa.bhat@linux.vnet.ibm.com]
* Create a helper routine that can return the cpu-frequency for the
corresponding pstate_id. Also, cache the values of the pstate_max,
pstate_min and pstate_nominal and nr_pstates in a static structure
so that they can be reused in the future to perform any
validations. [Authored by ego@linux.vnet.ibm.com]
* Create a driver attribute named cpuinfo_nominal_freq which creates
a sysfs read-only file named cpuinfo_nominal_freq. Export the
frequency corresponding to the nominal_pstate through this
interface.
Nominal frequency is the highest non-turbo frequency for the
platform. This is generally used for setting governor policies
from user space for optimal energy efficiency. [Authored by
ego@linux.vnet.ibm.com]
* Implement a powernv_cpufreq_get(unsigned int cpu) method which will
return the current operating frequency. Export this via the sysfs
interface cpuinfo_cur_freq by setting powernv_cpufreq_driver.get to
powernv_cpufreq_get(). [Authored by ego@linux.vnet.ibm.com]

Linux uses CPUID.MWAIT.EDX to validate the C-states
reported by ACPI, silently discarding states which
are not supported by the HW.
This test is too restrictive, as some HW now uses
sparse sub-state numbering, so the sub-state number
may be higher than the number of sub-states...
Also, rather than silently ignoring an invalid state,
we should complain about a firmware bug.
In practice...
Bay Trail systems originally supported C6-no-shrink as
MWAIT sub-state 0x58, and in CPUID.MWAIT.EDX 0x03000000
indicated that there were 3 MWAIT-C6 sub-states.
So acpi_idle would discard that C-state because 8 >= 3.
Upon discovering this issue, the ucode was updated so that
C6-no-shrink was also exported as 0x51, and the BIOS was
updated to match. However, systems shipped with 0x58,
will never get a BIOS update, and this patch allows
Linux to see C6-no-shrink on early Bay Trail.

New kexec-tools wants to pass kdump kernel needed memmap via E820
directly, instead of memmap=exactmap. This makes saved_max_pfn not
be passed down to 2nd kernel. To keep 1st kernel and 2nd kernel using
the same TCE table size, Muli suggest to hard code the size to max (8M).
We can't get rid of saved_max_pfn this time, for backward compatibility
with old first kernel and new second kernel. However new first kernel
and old second kernel can not work unfortunately.

That makes max_low_pfn_mapped = 1f6f0000, so assuming our stolen
memory would start there would place it on top of some ACPI
memory regions. So not a good idea as already stated.
The 9MB region after the ACPI regions at 0x1f700000 however
looks promising given that the macine reports the stolen memory
size to be 8MB. Looking at the PGTBL_CTL register, the GTT
entries are at offset 0x1fee00000, and given that the GTT
entries occupy 128KB, it looks like the stolen memory could
start at 0x1f700000 and the GTT entries would occupy the last
128KB of the stolen memory.
After some more digging through chipset documentation, I've
determined the BIOS first allocates space for something called
TSEG (something to do with SMM) from the top of memory, and then
it allocates the graphics stolen memory below that. Accordind to
the chipset documentation TSEG has a fixed size of 1MB on 855.
So that explains the top 1MB in the e820 region. And it also
confirms that the GTT entries are in fact at the end of the the
stolen memory region.
Derive the stolen memory base address on gen2 the same as the
BIOS does (TOM-TSEG_SIZE-stolen_size). There are a few
differences between the registers on various gen2 chipsets, so a
few different codepaths are required.
865G is again bit more special since it seems to support enough
memory to hit 4GB address space issues. This means the PCI
allocations will also affect the location of the stolen memory.
Fortunately there appears to be the TOUD register which may give
us the correct answer directly. But the chipset docs are a bit
unclear, so I'm not 100% sure that the graphics stolen memory is
always the last thing the BIOS steals. Someone would need to
verify it on a real system.
I tested this on the my 830 and 855 machines, and so far
everything looks peachy.
