* md-linear: use struct_size() in kzalloc()Gustavo A. R. Silva2019-02-041-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | One of the more common cases of allocation size calculations is finding the size of a structure that has a zero-sized array at the end, along with memory for some number of elements for that array. For example: struct foo { int stuff; void *entry[]; }; instance = kzalloc(sizeof(struct foo) + sizeof(void *) * count, GFP_KERNEL); Instead of leaving these open-coded and prone to type mistakes, we can now use the new struct_size() helper: instance = kzalloc(struct_size(instance, entry, count), GFP_KERNEL); This code was detected with the help of Coccinelle. * block: Use blk_queue_flag_*() in drivers instead of queue_flag_*()Bart Van Assche2018-03-081-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch has been generated as follows: for verb in set_unlocked clear_unlocked set clear; do replace-in-files queue_flag_${verb} blk_queue_flag_${verb%_unlocked} \ $(git grep -lw queue_flag_${verb} drivers block/bsg*) done Except for protecting all queue flag changes with the queue lock this patch does not change any functionality. * md: rename some drivers/md/ files to have an "md-" prefixMike Snitzer2017-10-161-0/+348
Motivated by the desire to illiminate the imprecise nature of DM-specific patches being unnecessarily sent to both the MD maintainer and mailing-list. Which is born out of the fact that DM files also reside in drivers/md/ Now all MD-specific files in drivers/md/ start with either "raid" or "md-" and the MAINTAINERS file has been updated accordingly.
