* mmc: toshsd: fix return value check of mmc_add_host()Yang Yingliang2023-01-181-1/+5
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | [ Upstream commit f670744a316ea983113a65313dcd387b5a992444 ] mmc_add_host() may return error, if we ignore its return value, the memory that allocated in mmc_alloc_host() will be leaked and it will lead a kernel crash because of deleting not added device in the remove path. So fix this by checking the return value and goto error path which will call mmc_free_host(), besides, free_irq() also needs be called. * mmc: toshsd: constify mmc_host_ops structuresJulia Lawall2017-08-301-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The mmc_host_ops structure is only stored in the ops field of an mmc_host structure, which is declared as const. Thus the mmc_host_ops structure itself can be const. Done with the help of Coccinelle. // <smpl> @r disable optional_qualifier@ identifier i; position p; @@ static struct mmc_host_ops i@p = { ... }; @ok1@ struct mmc_host *mmc; identifier r.i; position p; @@ mmc->ops = &i@p @bad@ position p != {r.p,ok1.p}; identifier r.i; struct mmc_host_ops e; @@ e@i@p @depends on !bad disable optional_qualifier@ identifier r.i; @@ static +const struct mmc_host_ops i = { ... }; // </smpl> Signed-off-by: Julia Lawall <Julia.Lawall@lip6.fr> Signed-off-by: Ulf Hansson <ulf.hansson@linaro.org>
* PM / Runtime: Move ignore_children flag under CONFIG_PMUlf Hansson2016-04-221-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The ignore_children flag is used only when CONFIG_PM is set, so let's move it into that section within the struct dev_pm_info. Move also the corresponding pm_suspend_ignore_children() API out of device.h into pm_runtime.h, to be consistent with similar APIs. Unfortunate this causes the Toshiba PCI SD mmc host driver to fail to compile as it needs pm_runtime.h, so let's fix this here as well. * mmc: toshsd: move dereference below check for NULLDan Carpenter2014-11-261-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | We check for NULL pointers after dereferencing so it's too late. Oddly enough, Smatch misses this code but complains about the caller passing NULL pointers to this function: drivers/mmc/host/toshsd.c:389 toshsd_irq() error: we previously assumed 'host->cmd' could be null (see line 349) Signed-off-by: Dan Carpenter <dan.carpenter@oracle.com> Signed-off-by: Ulf Hansson <ulf.hansson@linaro.org>
* mmc: add Toshiba PCI SD controller driverOndrej Zary2014-11-261-0/+717
This patch resurrects an old never-finished driver for Toshiba PCI SD controllers found in some older Toshiba laptops (such as Portege R100): 02:0d.0 System peripheral [0880]: Toshiba America Info Systems SD TypA Controller [1179:0805] (rev 05) The code is fixed, cleaned up and successfully tested with SD, SDHC, SDXC and MMC cards on Portege R100. (MMC cards don't even work in Windows!) SDIO probably does not work (don't have any SDIO card). The hardware is slow (around 2 MB/s - same in Windows) because it does not support bus mastering (busmaster enable bit cannot be set in PCI control reg). Also the card clock is limited to 16MHz (33MHz PCI clock divided by 2). Signed-off-by: Ondrej Zary <linux@rainbow-software.org> Signed-off-by: Ulf Hansson <ulf.hansson@linaro.org>
