* e1000: Use netdev_<level>, pr_<level> and dev_<level>Emil Tantilov2010-04-271-179/+177
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This patch is an alternative to similar patch provided by Joe Perches. Substitute DPRINTK macro for e_<level> that uses netdev_<level> and dev_<level> similar to e1000e. - Convert printk to pr_<level> where applicable. - Use common #define pr_fmt for the driver. - Use dev_<level> for displaying text in parts of the driver where the interface name is not assigned (like e1000_param.c). - Better align test with the new macros. * e1000: fix flow control thresholdsJesse Brandeburg2009-07-061-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | when testing the jumbo frames with pages patch, the stats would show rx_missed errors (dropped packets) even when connected to a link partner with flow control enabled. this indicates that for this MTU (9000) the flow control thresholds are not adjusting correctly. In fact, before this change, the FCRTH (xoff threshold) is 36864 when the fifo size is only 40000, with 9000 byte MTU. fix it so that we at least have room for one frame after we send the xoff. * PCI-X/PCI-Express read control interfaces: use them in e1000Peter Oruba2007-10-101-22/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | These driver changes incorporate the proposed PCI-X / PCI-Express read byte count interface.
