* net: aquantia: reapply vlan filters on upDmitry Bogdanov2019-08-311-0/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | In case of device reconfiguration the driver may reset the device invisible for other modules, vlan module in particular. So vlans will not be removed&created and vlan filters will not be configured in the device. The patch reapplies the vlan filters at device start. * net: aquantia: vlan unicast address list correct handlingIgor Russkikh2018-07-061-9/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Setting up macvlan/macvtap networks over atlantic NIC results in no traffic over these networks because ndo_set_rx_mode did not listed UC MACs as registered in unicast filter. Here we fix that taking into account maximum number of UC filters supported by hardware. If more than MAX addresses were registered, we just enable promisc and/or allmulti to pass the traffic in. We also remove MULTICAST_ADDRESS_MAX constant from aq_cfg since thats not a configurable parameter at all. Fixes: b21f502 ("net:ethernet:aquantia: Fix for multicast filter handling.") * net: aquantia: Cleanup pci functions moduleIgor Russkikh2018-01-211-11/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | Driver contained a dead code of maintaining multiple pci port instances. That will never be used since for each pci function a separate NIC instance is created. Simplify this, making pci module only responsible for pci resource management. NIC initialization is also simplified accordingly. * net: aquantia: Eliminate aq_nic structure abstractionIgor Russkikh2018-01-161-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | aq_nic_s was hidden in aq_nic_internal.h, that made it difficult to access nic fields and structures from other modules. This change moves aq_nic_s struct into aq_nic.h and thus makes it available to other driver modules, mainly pci module and hw related module. * net: ethernet: aquantia: set net_device mtu when mtu is changedDavid Arcari2017-03-161-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When the aquantia device mtu is changed the net_device structure is not updated. As a result the ip command does not properly reflect the mtu change. Commit 5513e16421cb incorrectly assumed that __dev_set_mtu() was making the assignment ndev->mtu = new_mtu; This is not true in the case where the driver has a ndo_change_mtu routine. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | 1)Removed unnecessary comparsion "old_mtu == new_mtu". This check is not needed.
