Pull more s390 updates from Heiko Carstens:
"Except for the xpram device driver removal it is all about fixes and
cleanups.
- Fix topology update on cpu hotplug, so notifiers see expected
masks. This bug was uncovered with SCHED_CORE support.
- Fix stack unwinding so that the correct number of entries are
omitted like expected by common code. This fixes KCSAN selftests.
- Add kmemleak annotation to stack_alloc to avoid false positive
kmemleak warnings.
- Avoid layering violation in common I/O code and don't unregister
subchannel from child-drivers.
- Remove xpram device driver for which no real use case exists since
the kernel is 64 bit only. Also all hypervisors got required
support removed in the meantime, which means the xpram device
driver is dead code.
- Fix -ENODEV handling of clp_get_state in our PCI code.
- Enable KFENCE in debug defconfig.
- Cleanup hugetlbfs s390 specific Kconfig dependency.
- Quite a lot of trivial fixes to get rid of "W=1" warnings, and and
other simple cleanups"

Support for expanded storage was only available until z13 and z/VM 6.3
respectively. However there haven't been any use cases a long time
before for this device driver.

The devices owned by the parent-driver (css) was getting unregistered
from the io-subchannel driver is clearly a layering violation.
Remove the subchannel unregistration from the child-drivers.
This also means, if the device connected to the subchannel is not
operational, or not accessible, the subchannel will not be unregistered.
Instead the CIO layer will allow valid subchannels without any operational
devices in sysfs. And the userspace tooling might need to be modified to
optimally handle this new situation.

This is straightforward conversion, the ap_matrix_mdev is actually serving
as the vfio_device and we can replace all the mdev_get_drvdata()'s with a
simple container_of() or a dev_get_drvdata() for sysfs paths.

It was pointed out during an unrelated patch review that locks should not
be open coded - i.e., writing the algorithm of a standard lock in a
function instead of using a lock from the standard library. The setting and
testing of a busy flag and sleeping on a wait_event is the same thing
a lock does. The open coded locks are invisible to lockdep, so potential
locking problems are not detected.
This patch removes the open coded locks used during
VFIO_GROUP_NOTIFY_SET_KVM notification. The busy flag
and wait queue were introduced to resolve a possible circular locking
dependency reported by lockdep when starting a secure execution guest
configured with AP adapters and domains. Reversing the order in which
the kvm->lock mutex and matrix_dev->lock mutex are locked resolves the
issue reported by lockdep, thus enabling the removal of the open coded
locks.

The function pointer to the interception handler for the PQAP instruction
can get changed during the interception process. Let's add a
semaphore to struct kvm_s390_crypto to control read/write access to the
function pointer contained therein.
The semaphore must be locked for write access by the vfio_ap device driver
when notified that the KVM pointer has been set or cleared. It must be
locked for read access by the interception framework when the PQAP
instruction is intercepted.

The user can open multiple device FDs if it likes, however these open()
functions call vfio_register_notifier() on some device global
state. Calling vfio_register_notifier() twice in will trigger a WARN_ON
from notifier_chain_register() and the first close will wrongly delete the
notifier and more.
Since these really want the new open/close_device() semantics just change
the functions over.

alloc_tty_driver was deprecated by tty_alloc_driver in commit
7f0bc6a68ed9 (TTY: pass flags to alloc_tty_driver) in 2012.
I never got into eliminating alloc_tty_driver until now. So we still
have two functions for allocating drivers which might be confusing. So
get rid of alloc_tty_driver uses to eliminate it for good in the next
patch.
Note we need to switch return value checking as tty_alloc_driver uses
ERR_PTR. And flags are now a parameter of tty_alloc_driver.

Pull driver core updates from Greg KH:
"Here is the big set of driver core patches for 5.15-rc1.
These do change a number of different things across different
subsystems, and because of that, there were 2 stable tags created that
might have already come into your tree from different pulls that did
the following
- changed the bus remove callback to return void
- sysfs iomem_get_mapping rework
Other than those two things, there's only a few small things in here:
- kernfs performance improvements for huge numbers of sysfs users at
once
- tiny api cleanups
- other minor changes
All of these have been in linux-next for a while with no reported
problems, other than the before-mentioned merge issue"

The driver core ignores the return value of this callback because there
is only little it can do when a device disappears.
This is the final bit of a long lasting cleanup quest where several
buses were converted to also return void from their remove callback.
Additionally some resource leaks were fixed that were caused by drivers
returning an error code in the expectation that the driver won't go
away.
With struct bus_type::remove returning void it's prevented that newly
implemented buses return an ignored error code and so don't anticipate
wrong expectations for driver authors.

Update the MAC addresses that are registered with a LEARNING_SYNC qeth
device with the events announced by the attached software bridge.
Typically the LEARNING_SYNC qeth bridge port has an isolated sibling (the
default interface of an 'HiperSockets Converged Interface' (HSCI)). Update
the MACs of isolated siblings as well, to avoid unnecessary flooding in
the attached virtualized switches.

QETH HiperSockets devices with LEARNING_SYNC capability can be used
to construct a linux bridge with:
2 isolated southbound interfaces:
a) a default network interface
b) a LEARNING-SYNC HiperSockets interface
and 1 non-isolated northbound interface. This is called a 'HiperSockets
Converged Interface' (HSCI).
The existing LEARNING_SYNC functionality is used to update the bridge fdb
with MAC addresses that should be sent-out via the HiperSockets interface,
instead of the default network interface.
Add handling of switchdev events SWITCHDEV_FDB_ADD_TO_DEVICE and
SWITCHDEV_FDB_DEL_TO_DEVICE to the qeth LEARNING_SYNC functionality. Thus
if the northbound bridgeport of an HSCI doesn't only have a single static
MAC address, but instead is a learning bridgeport, work is enqueued, so
the HiperSockets virtual switch (that is external to this Linux instance)
can update its fdb.
When BRIDGE is a loadable module, QETH_L2 mustn't be built-in:

Conditionally register a qeth_l2 switchdev_event handler to handle bridge
to device switchdev events, when at least one qeth interface has the

Most users of ndo_do_ioctl are ethernet drivers that implement
the MII commands SIOCGMIIPHY/SIOCGMIIREG/SIOCSMIIREG, or hardware
timestamping with SIOCSHWTSTAMP/SIOCGHWTSTAMP.
Separate these from the few drivers that use ndo_do_ioctl to
implement SIOCBOND, SIOCBR and SIOCWANDEV commands.
This is a purely cosmetic change intended to help readers find
their way through the implementation.

qeth has both standard MII ioctls and custom SIOCDEVPRIVATE ones,
all of which work correctly with compat user space.
Move the private ones over to the new ndo_siocdevprivate callback.

qeth uses three device_type structs - a generic one, and one for each
sub-driver (which is used for fixed-layer devices only). Instead of
exporting these device_types back&forth between the driver's modules,
make all the logic self-contained within the sub-drivers.
On disc->setup() they either install their own device_type, or add the
sysfs attributes that are missing in the generic device_type. Later on
disc->remove() these attributes are removed again from any device that
has the generic device_type.

The QETH_PROT_* naming is shared among two unrelated areas - one is
the MPC-level protocol identifiers, the other is the qeth_prot_version
enum.
Rename the MPC definitions to use QETH_MPC_PROT_*.

Commit fb64de1bc36c ("s390/qeth: phase out OSN support") spelled out
why the OSN support in qeth is in a bad shape, and put any remaining
interested parties on notice to speak up before it gets ripped out.
It's 2021 now, so make true on that promise and remove all the
OSN-specific parts from qeth. This also means that we no longer need to
export various parts of the cmd & data path internals to the L2 driver.

This was a leftover from the legacy alloc_disk interface. Switch
the scsi ULPs and dasd to set ->minors directly like all other
drivers and remove the argument.

Most drivers should use and have been converted to use blk_alloc_disk
and blk_mq_alloc_disk. Only the scsi ULPs and dasd still allocate
a disk separately from the request_queue, so don't bother with
convenience macros for something that should not see significant
new users and remove these wrappers.
