| * spi: Replace all spi->chip_select and spi->cs_gpiod references with function ↵Amit Kumar Mahapatra via Alsa-devel2023-03-111-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | call Supporting multi-cs in spi drivers would require the chip_select & cs_gpiod members of struct spi_device to be an array. But changing the type of these members to array would break the spi driver functionality. To make the transition smoother introduced four new APIs to get/set the spi->chip_select & spi->cs_gpiod and replaced all spi->chip_select and spi->cs_gpiod references with get or set API calls. While adding multi-cs support in further patches the chip_select & cs_gpiod members of the spi_device structure would be converted to arrays & the "idx" parameter of the APIs would be used as array index i.e., spi->chip_select[idx] & spi->cs_gpiod[idx] respectively. | * spi: rockchip-sfc: Convert to platform remove callback returning voidUwe Kleine-König2023-03-061-4/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The .remove() callback for a platform driver returns an int which makes many driver authors wrongly assume it's possible to do error handling by returning an error code. However the value returned is (mostly) ignored and this typically results in resource leaks. To improve here there is a quest to make the remove callback return void. In the first step of this quest all drivers are converted to .remove_new() which already returns void. Trivially convert this driver from always returning zero in the remove callback to the void returning variant. |/ | | | | | | | | | | | | If devm_request_irq() fails, then we are directly return 'ret' without clk_disable_unprepare(sfc->clk) and clk_disable_unprepare(sfc->hclk). Fix this by changing direct return to a goto 'err_irq'.
