* usb: dwc3: remove unnecessary platform_set_drvdata()Yang Yingliang2023-08-221-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | Remove unnecessary platform_set_drvdata(..., NULL) in ->remove(), the driver_data will be cleared in device_unbind_cleanup() after calling ->remove() in driver call code. * usb: Explicitly include correct DT includesRob Herring2023-07-251-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The DT of_device.h and of_platform.h date back to the separate of_platform_bus_type before it as merged into the regular platform bus. As part of that merge prepping Arm DT support 13 years ago, they "temporarily" include each other. They also include platform_device.h and of.h. As a result, there's a pretty much random mix of those include files used throughout the tree. In order to detangle these headers and replace the implicit includes with struct declarations, users need to explicitly include the correct includes. * usb: dwc3-imx8mp: Convert to platform remove callback returning voidUwe Kleine-König2023-05-281-4/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The .remove() callback for a platform driver returns an int which makes many driver authors wrongly assume it's possible to do error handling by returning an error code. However the value returned is ignored (apart from emitting a warning) and this typically results in resource leaks. To improve here there is a quest to make the remove callback return void. In the first step of this quest all drivers are converted to .remove_new() which already returns void. Eventually after all drivers are converted, .remove_new() is renamed to .remove(). Trivially convert this driver from always returning zero in the remove callback to the void returning variant. * usb: dwc3: imx8mp: Add support for setting SOC specific flagsAlexander Stein2022-03-151-0/+63
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The i.MX8MP glue layer has support for the following flags: * over-current polarity * PWR pad polarity * controlling PPC flag in HCCPARAMS register * permanent port attach for usb2 & usb3 port Allow setting these flags by supporting specific flags in the glue node. In order to get this to work an additional IORESOURCE_MEM and clock is necessary. For backward compatibility this is purely optional. * usb: dwc3: imx8mp: rename iomem base pointerAlexander Stein2022-03-151-8/+8
| | | | | | | | | | | Until now the iomem used is not USB glue as the name suggests, but HSIO BLK_CTL. Rename the struct member accordingly. This is a preparing patch for when USB glue is actually used. * usb: dwc3: imx8mp: request irq after initializing dwc3Nadezda Lutovinova2021-08-261-7/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | If IRQ occurs between calling devm_request_threaded_irq() and initializing dwc3_imx->dwc3, then null pointer dereference occurs since dwc3_imx->dwc3 is used in dwc3_imx8mp_interrupt(). The patch puts registration of the interrupt handler after initializing of neccesery data. Found by Linux Driver Verification project (linuxtesting.org). | | | | | | | | | | | | | New schema of usb controller DT-node should be named with prefix "^usb(@.*)?", dt changed the node name, but missed counter part change in driver, fix it by switching to use compatible string as the dwc3 core compatible string keeps "snps,dwc3" in all dt. * usb: dwc3: imx8mp: fix incorrect kernel-doc comment syntaxAditya Srivastava2021-04-021-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The opening comment mark '/**' is used for highlighting the beginning of kernel-doc comments. The header for drivers/usb/dwc3/dwc3-imx8mp.c follows this syntax, but the content inside does not comply with kernel-doc. This line was probably not meant for kernel-doc parsing, but is parsed due to the presence of kernel-doc like comment syntax(i.e, '/**'), which causes unexpected warning from kernel-doc: "warning: expecting prototype for dwc3(). Prototype was for USB_WAKEUP_CTRL() instead" Provide a simple fix by replacing this occurrence with general comment format, i.e. '/*', to prevent kernel-doc from parsing it.
