* xen: Replace one-element array with flexible-array memberGustavo A. R. Silva2023-02-131-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | One-element arrays are deprecated, and we are replacing them with flexible array members instead. So, replace one-element array with flexible-array member in struct xen_page_directory. This helps with the ongoing efforts to tighten the FORTIFY_SOURCE routines on memcpy() and help us make progress towards globally enabling -fstrict-flex-arrays=3 [1]. This results in no differences in binary output. * xen: switch gnttab_end_foreign_access() to take a struct page pointerJuergen Gross2022-05-271-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Instead of a virtual kernel address use a pointer of the associated struct page as second parameter of gnttab_end_foreign_access(). Most users have that pointer available already and are creating the virtual address from it, risking problems in case the memory is located in highmem. gnttab_end_foreign_access() itself won't need to get the struct page from the address again. * xen/grant-table: remove readonly parameter from functionsJuergen Gross2022-03-151-2/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | The gnttab_end_foreign_access() family of functions is taking a "readonly" parameter, which isn't used. Remove it from the function parameters. * xen: Introduce shared buffer helpers for page directory...Oleksandr Andrushchenko2018-12-181-0/+553
based frontends. Currently the frontends which implement similar code for sharing big buffers between frontend and backend are para-virtualized DRM and sound drivers. Both define the same way to share grant references of a data buffer with the corresponding backend with little differences. Move shared code into a helper module, so there is a single implementation of the same functionality for all. This patch introduces code which is used by sound and display frontend drivers without functional changes with the intention to remove shared code from the corresponding drivers.
