* ceph: convert ceph_readpage to netfs_readpageJeff Layton2021-04-271-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | Have the ceph KConfig select NETFS_SUPPORT. Add a new netfs ops structure and the operations for it. Convert ceph_readpage to use the new netfs_readpage helper. Signed-off-by: Jeff Layton <jlayton@kernel.org> Signed-off-by: Ilya Dryomov <idryomov@gmail.com>
* libceph: replace HTTP links with HTTPS onesAlexander A. Klimov2020-08-031-1/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Rationale: Reduces attack surface on kernel devs opening the links for MITM as HTTPS traffic is much harder to manipulate. Deterministic algorithm: For each file: If not .svg: For each line: If doesn't contain `\bxmlns\b`: For each link, `\bhttp://[^# \t\r\n]*(?:\w|/)`: If neither `\bgnu\.org/license`, nor `\bmozilla\.org/MPL\b`: If both the HTTP and HTTPS versions return 200 OK and serve the same content: Replace HTTP with HTTPS. [ idryomov: Do the same for the CRUSH paper and replace ceph.newdream.net with ceph.io. ] Signed-off-by: Alexander A. * ceph: add selinux supportYan, Zheng2019-07-081-0/+12
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | When creating new file/directory, use security_dentry_init_security() to prepare selinux context for the new inode, then send openc/mkdir request to MDS, together with selinux xattr. security_dentry_init_security() only supports single security module and only selinux has dentry_init_security hook. So only selinux is supported for now. We can add support for other security modules once kernel has a generic version of dentry_init_security() Signed-off-by: "Yan, Zheng" <zyan@redhat.com> Reviewed-by: Jeff Layton <jlayton@redhat.com> Signed-off-by: Ilya Dryomov <idryomov@gmail.com>

| | | | | | | | | | | | | | Add SPDX license identifiers to all Make/Kconfig files which: - Have no license information of any form These files fall under the project license, GPL v2 only. * fs/*/Kconfig: drop links to 404-compliant http://acl.bestbits.atAdam Borowski2018-01-011-3/+0
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This link is replicated in most filesystems' config stanzas. Referring to an archived version of that site is pointless as it mostly deals with patches; user documentation is available elsewhere. * ceph: use fscache as a local presisent cacheMilosz Tanski2013-09-061-0/+9
| | | | | | | | | | | Adding support for fscache to the Ceph filesystem. This would bring it to on par with some of the other network filesystems in Linux (like NFS, AFS, etc...) In order to mount the filesystem with fscache the 'fsc' mount option must be passed. Signed-off-by: Milosz Tanski <milosz@adfin.com> Signed-off-by: Sage Weil <sage@inktank.com>
* fs/ceph: remove depends on CONFIG_EXPERIMENTALKees Cook2013-01-111-2/+2
| | | | | | | | | | The CONFIG_EXPERIMENTAL config item has not carried much meaning for a while now and is almost always enabled by default. As agreed during the Linux kernel summit, remove it from any "depends on" lines in Kconfigs. * ceph: factor out libceph from Ceph file systemYehuda Sadeh2010-10-201-12/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This factors out protocol and low-level storage parts of ceph into a separate libceph module living in net/ceph and include/linux/ceph. This is mostly a matter of moving files around. However, a few key pieces of the interface change as well: - ceph_client becomes ceph_fs_client and ceph_client, where the latter captures the mon and osd clients, and the fs_client gets the mds client and file system specific pieces. - Mount option parsing and debugfs setup is correspondingly broken into two pieces. - The mon client gets a generic handler callback for otherwise unknown messages (mds map, in this case). - The basic supported/required feature bits can be expanded (and are by ceph_fs_client). No functional change, aside from some subtle error handling cases that got cleaned up in the refactoring process. Signed-off-by: Sage Weil <sage@newdream.net>
