Add fwctl support code to allow sending of CXL feature commands from
userspace through as ioctls via FWCTL. Provide initial setup bits. The
CXL PCI probe function will call devm_cxl_setup_fwctl() after the
cxl_memdev has been enumerated in order to setup FWCTL char device under
the cxl_memdev like the existing memdev char device for issuing CXL raw
mailbox commands from userspace via ioctls.

mlx5 FW has a built in security context called UID. Each UID has a set of
permissions controlled by the kernel when it is created and every command
is tagged by the kernel with a particular UID. In general commands cannot
reach objects outside of their UID and commands cannot exceed their UID's
permissions. These restrictions are enforced by FW.
This mechanism has long been used in RDMA for the devx interface where
RDMA will sent commands directly to the FW and the UID limitations
restrict those commands to a ib_device/verbs security domain. For instance
commands that would effect other VFs, or global device resources. The
model is suitable for unprivileged userspace to operate the RDMA
functionality.
The UID has been extended with a "tools resources" permission which allows
additional commands and sub-commands that are intended to match with the
scope limitations set in FWCTL. This is an alternative design to the
"command intent log" where the FW does the enforcement rather than having
the FW report the enforcement the kernel should do.
Consistent with the fwctl definitions the "tools resources" security
context is limited to the FWCTL_RPC_CONFIGURATION,
FWCTL_RPC_DEBUG_READ_ONLY, FWCTL_RPC_DEBUG_WRITE, and
FWCTL_RPC_DEBUG_WRITE_FULL security scopes.
Like RDMA devx, each opened fwctl file descriptor will get a unique UID
associated with each file descriptor.
The fwctl driver is kept simple and we reject commands that can create
objects as the UID mechanism relies on the kernel to track and destroy
objects prior to detroying the UID. Filtering into fwctl sub scopes is
done inside the driver with a switch statement. This substantially limits
what is possible to primarily query functions ad a few limited set
operations.
mlx5 already has a robust infrastructure for delivering RPC messages to
fw. Trivially connect fwctl's RPC mechanism to mlx5_cmd_do(). Enforce the
User Context ID in every RPC header accepted from the FD so the FW knows
the security context of the issuing ID.

Add the FWCTL_RPC ioctl which allows a request/response RPC call to device
firmware. Drivers implementing this call must follow the security
guidelines under Documentation/userspace-api/fwctl.rst
The core code provides some memory management helpers to get the messages
copied from and back to userspace. The driver is responsible for
allocating the output message memory and delivering the message to the
device.

Userspace will need to know some details about the fwctl interface being
used to locate the correct userspace code to communicate with the
kernel. Provide a simple device_type enum indicating what the kernel
driver is.
Allow the device to provide a device specific info struct that contains
any additional information that the driver may need to provide to
userspace.

Each file descriptor gets a chunk of per-FD driver specific context that
allows the driver to attach a device specific struct to. The core code
takes care of the memory lifetime for this structure.
The ioctl dispatch and design is based on what was built for iommufd. The
ioctls have a struct which has a combined in/out behavior with a typical
'zero pad' scheme for future extension and backwards compatibility.
Like iommufd some shared logic does most of the ioctl marshaling and
compatibility work and table dispatches to some function pointers for
each unique ioctl.
This approach has proven to work quite well in the iommufd and rdma
subsystems.
Allocate an ioctl number space for the subsystem.

Pull pci updates from Bjorn Helgaas:
"Enumeration:

BARs, to avoid failures when removing and re-adding devices (Ilpo
Järvinen)
- Allow drivers to enable devices even if we haven't assigned
optional IOV resources to them (Ilpo Järvinen)

failures if we can't allocate them (Ilpo Järvinen)
- Fix a NULL dereference in the SR-IOV VF creation error path (Shay

can still access devices after pci_stop_dev() (Manivannan
Sadhasivam)

because the pwrctrl core will rescan the bus after the device is
powered on (Manivannan Sadhasivam)

For PCITEST_MSI we really want to set PCITEST_SET_IRQTYPE explicitly
to PCITEST_IRQ_TYPE_MSI, since we want to test if MSI works.
For PCITEST_MSIX we really want to set PCITEST_SET_IRQTYPE explicitly
to PCITEST_IRQ_TYPE_MSIX, since we want to test if MSI works.
For PCITEST_LEGACY_IRQ we really want to set PCITEST_SET_IRQTYPE
explicitly to PCITEST_IRQ_TYPE_INTX, since we want to test if INTx
works.
However, for PCITEST_WRITE, PCITEST_READ, PCITEST_COPY, we really don't
care which IRQ type that is used, we just want to use a IRQ type that is
supported by the EPC.
The old behavior was to always use MSI for PCITEST_WRITE, PCITEST_READ,
PCITEST_COPY, was to always set IRQ type to MSI before doing the actual
test, however, there are EPC drivers that do not support MSI.
Add a new PCITEST_IRQ_TYPE_AUTO, that will use the CAPS register to see
which IRQ types the endpoint supports, and use one of the supported IRQ
types.
For backwards compatibility, if the endpoint does not expose any supported
IRQ type in the CAPS register, simply fallback to using MSI, as it was
unconditionally done before.

These IRQ_TYPE_* defines are used by both drivers/misc/pci_endpoint_test.c
and tools/testing/selftests/pci_endpoint/pci_endpoint_test.c.
Considering that both the misc driver and the selftest already includes
the pcitest.h UAPI header, it makes sense for these IRQ_TYPE_* defines
to be located in the pcitest.h UAPI header.

Per PCIe r6.0, sec 7.8.6.2, devices can advertise Resizable BAR sizes up to
128 TB in the Resizable BAR Capability register. Larger sizes can be
advertised via the Capability register, but that requires an API change.
Update pci_rebar_get_possible_sizes() and pbus_size_mem() to increase the
sizes we currently support from 512 GB to 128 TB.

PCIe r6.1, sec 6.30.1.1, describes a "Vendor ID", a "Data Object Type" and
"Next Index" as the fields in the DOE Discovery Response Data Object. The
DOE driver currently uses both the terms 'type' and 'prot' for the second
element.
Rename all uses of the DOE Discovery Response Data Object to use 'type' as
the second element of the object header, instead of type/prot as it
currently is.

Flit mode introduced in PCIe r6.0 alters how the TLP Header Log is
presented through AER and DPC Capability registers. The TLP Prefix Log
Register is not present with Flit mode, and the register becomes an
extension of the TLP Header Log (PCIe r6.1 secs 7.8.4.12 & 7.9.14.13).
Adapt pcie_read_tlp_log() and struct pcie_tlp_log to read and store the
extended TLP Header Log when the Link is in Flit mode. As the Prefix Log
and Extended TLP Header are not present at the same time, a C union can be
used.
Determining whether the error occurred while the Link was in Flit mode is a
bit complicated. In case of AER, the Advanced Error Capabilities and
Control Register directly tells whether the error was logged in Flit mode
or not (PCIe r6.1 sec 7.8.4.7). The DPC Capability (PCIe r6.1 sec 7.9.14),
unfortunately, does not contain the same information.
Unlike AER, the DPC Capability does not provide a way to discern whether
the error was logged in Flit mode (this is confirmed by PCI WG to be an
oversight in the spec). DPC will bring the Link down immediately following
an error, which makes it impossible to acquire the Flit Mode Status
directly from the Link Status 2 register because Flit Mode Status is only
set in certain Link states (PCIe r6.1 sec 7.5.3.20). As a workaround, use
the flit_mode value stored into the struct pci_bus.

Pull drm updates from Dave Airlie:
"Outside of drm there are some rust patches from Danilo who maintains
that area in here, and some pieces for drm header check tests.
The major things in here are a new driver supporting the touchbar
displays on M1/M2, the nova-core stub driver which is just the vehicle
for adding rust abstractions and start developing a real driver inside
of.
xe adds support for SVM with a non-driver specific SVM core
abstraction that will hopefully be useful for other drivers, along
with support for shrinking for TTM devices. I'm sure xe and AMD
support new devices, but the pipeline depth on these things is hard to
know what they end up being in the marketplace!

Add the DRM_XE_QUERY_CONFIG_FLAG_HAS_CPU_ADDR_MIRROR device query flag,
which indicates whether the device supports CPU address mirroring. The
intent is for UMDs to use this query to determine if a VM can be set up
with CPU address mirroring. This flag is implemented by checking if the
device supports GPU faults.

Add the DRM_XE_VM_BIND_FLAG_CPU_ADDR_MIRROR flag, which is used to
create unpopulated virtual memory areas (VMAs) without memory backing or
GPU page tables. These VMAs are referred to as CPU address mirror VMAs.
The idea is that upon a page fault or prefetch, the memory backing and
GPU page tables will be populated.
CPU address mirror VMAs only update GPUVM state; they do not have an
internal page table (PT) state, nor do they have GPU mappings.
It is expected that CPU address mirror VMAs will be mixed with buffer
object (BO) VMAs within a single VM. In other words, system allocations
and runtime allocations can be mixed within a single user-mode driver
(UMD) program.
Expected usage:
- Bind the entire virtual address (VA) space upon program load using the
DRM_XE_VM_BIND_FLAG_CPU_ADDR_MIRROR flag.
- If a buffer object (BO) requires GPU mapping (runtime allocation),
allocate a CPU address using mmap(PROT_NONE), bind the BO to the
mmapped address using existing bind IOCTLs. If a CPU map of the BO is
needed, mmap it again to the same CPU address using mmap(MAP_FIXED)
- If a BO no longer requires GPU mapping, munmap it from the CPU address
space and them bind the mapping address with the
DRM_XE_VM_BIND_FLAG_CPU_ADDR_MIRROR flag.
- Any malloc'd or mmapped CPU address accessed by the GPU will be
faulted in via the SVM implementation (system allocation).
- Upon freeing any mmapped or malloc'd data, the SVM implementation will
remove GPU mappings.
Only supporting 1 to 1 mapping between user address space and GPU
address space at the moment as that is the expected use case. uAPI
defines interface for non 1 to 1 but enforces 1 to 1, this restriction
can be lifted if use cases arrise for non 1 to 1 mappings.
This patch essentially short-circuits the code in the existing VM bind
paths to avoid populating page tables when the
DRM_XE_VM_BIND_FLAG_CPU_ADDR_MIRROR flag is set.
v3:

- Don't allow DRM_XE_VM_BIND_FLAG_CPU_ADDR_MIRROR on non-faulting VMs

Allow user to provide a low latency hint. When set, KMD sends a hint
to GuC which results in special handling for that process. SLPC will
ramp the GT frequency aggressively every time it switches to this
process.
We need to enable the use of SLPC Compute strategy during init, but
it will apply only to processes that set this bit during process
creation.

User space can get the EU stall data record size, EU stall capabilities,
EU stall sampling rates, and per XeCore buffer size with query IOCTL
DRM_IOCTL_XE_DEVICE_QUERY with .query set to DRM_XE_DEVICE_QUERY_EU_STALL.
A struct drm_xe_query_eu_stall will be returned to the user space along
with an array of supported sampling rates sorted in the fastest sampling
rate first order. sampling_rates in struct drm_xe_query_eu_stall will
point to the array of sampling rates.
Any capabilities in EU stall sampling as of this patch are considered
as base capabilities. New capability bits will be added for any new
functionality added later.
v12: Rename has_eu_stall_sampling_support() to
xe_eu_stall_supported_on_platform() and move it to header file.
v11: Check if EU stall sampling is supported on the platform.
v10: Change comments and variable names as per feedback
v9: Move reserved fields above num_sampling_rates in
struct drm_xe_query_eu_stall.
v7: Change sampling_rates from a pointer to flexible array.
v6: Include EU stall sampling rates information and

A new hardware feature first introduced in PVC gives capability to
periodically sample EU stall state and record counts for different stall
reasons, on a per IP basis, aggregate across all EUs in a subslice and
record the samples in a buffer in each subslice. Eventually, the aggregated
data is written out to a buffer in the memory. This feature is also
supported in XE2 and later architecture GPUs.
Use an existing IOCTL - DRM_IOCTL_XE_OBSERVATION as the interface into the
driver from the user space to do initial setup and obtain a file descriptor
for the EU stall data stream. Input parameter to the IOCTL is a struct
drm_xe_observation_param in which observation_type should be set to
DRM_XE_OBSERVATION_TYPE_EU_STALL, observation_op should be
DRM_XE_OBSERVATION_OP_STREAM_OPEN and param should point to a chain of
drm_xe_ext_set_property structures in which each structure has a pair of
property and value. The EU stall sampling input properties are defined in
drm_xe_eu_stall_property_id enum.
With the file descriptor obtained from DRM_IOCTL_XE_OBSERVATION, user space
can enable and disable EU stall sampling with the IOCTLs:
DRM_XE_OBSERVATION_IOCTL_ENABLE and DRM_XE_OBSERVATION_IOCTL_DISABLE.
User space can also call poll() to check for availability of data in the
buffer. The data can be read with read(). Finally, the file descriptor
can be closed with close().
v11: Changed a couple of variables in struct eu_stall_open_properties
from unsigned int to int.

to DRM_XE_EU_STALL_PROP_WAIT_NUM_REPORTS to be consistent with

The driver needs to know if a BO is encrypted with PXP to enable the
display decryption at flip time.
Furthermore, we want to keep track of the status of the encryption and
reject any operation that involves a BO that is encrypted using an old
key. There are two points in time where such checks can kick in:
1 - at VM bind time, all operations except for unmapping will be
rejected if the key used to encrypt the BO is no longer valid. This
check is opt-in via a new VM_BIND flag, to avoid a scenario where a
malicious app purposely shares an invalid BO with a non-PXP aware
app (such as a compositor). If the VM_BIND was failed, the
compositor would be unable to display anything at all. Allowing the
bind to go through means that output still works, it just displays
garbage data within the bounds of the illegal BO.
2 - at job submission time, if the queue is marked as using PXP, all
objects bound to the VM will be checked and the submission will be
rejected if any of them was encrypted with a key that is no longer
valid.
Note that there is no risk of leaking the encrypted data if a user does
not opt-in to those checks; the only consequence is that the user will
not realize that the encryption key is changed and that the data is no
longer valid.

PXP prerequisites (SW proxy and HuC auth via GSC) are completed
asynchronously from driver load, which means that userspace can start
submitting before we're ready to start a PXP session. Therefore, we need
a query that userspace can use to check not only if PXP is supported but
also to wait until the prerequisites are done.

Userspace is required to mark a queue as using PXP to guarantee that the
PXP instructions will work. In addition to managing the PXP sessions,
when a PXP queue is created the driver will set the relevant bits in
its context control register.
On submission of a valid PXP queue, the driver will validate all
encrypted objects mapped to the VM to ensured they were encrypted with
the current key.
v2: Remove pxp_types include outside of PXP code (Jani), better comments

In order to avoid having userspace to use MI_MEM_FENCE,
we are adding a mechanism for userspace to generate a
PCI memory barrier with low overhead (avoiding IOCTL call
as well as writing to VRAM will adds some overhead).
This is implemented by memory-mapping a page as uncached
that is backed by MMIO on the dGPU and thus allowing userspace
to do memory write to the page without invoking an IOCTL.
We are selecting the MMIO so that it is not accessible from
the PCI bus so that the MMIO writes themselves are ignored,
but the PCI memory barrier will still take action as the MMIO
filtering will happen after the memory barrier effect.
When we detect special defined offset in mmap(), We are mapping
4K page which contains the last of page of doorbell MMIO range
to userspace for same purpose.
For user to query special offset we are adding special flag in
mmap_offset ioctl which needs to be passed as follows,
struct drm_xe_gem_mmap_offset mmo = {
.handle = 0, /* this must be 0 */
.flags = DRM_XE_MMAP_OFFSET_FLAG_PCI_BARRIER,
};
igt_ioctl(fd, DRM_IOCTL_XE_GEM_MMAP_OFFSET, &mmo);
map = mmap(NULL, size, PROT_WRITE, MAP_SHARED, fd, mmo);

header to be used with Rust code as bindgen can't handle complex

Pull more io_uring updates from Jens Axboe:
"Final separate updates for io_uring.
This started out as a series of cleanups improvements and improvements
for registered buffers, but as the last series of the io_uring changes
for 6.15, it also collected a few fixes for the other branches on top:
- Add support for vectored fixed/registered buffers.
Previously only single segments have been supported for commands,
now vectored variants are supported as well. This series includes
networking and file read/write support.
- Small series unifying return codes across multi and single shot.
- Small series cleaning up registerd buffer importing.
- Adding support for vectored registered buffers for uring_cmd.
- Fix for io-wq handling of command reissue.
- Various little fixes and tweaks"

Pull io_uring epoll support from Jens Axboe:
"This adds support for reading epoll events via io_uring.
While this may seem counter-intuitive (and/or productive), the
reasoning here is that quite a few existing epoll event loops can
easily do a partial conversion to a completion based model, but are
still stuck with one (or few) event types that remain readiness based.
For that case, they then need to add the io_uring fd to the epoll
context, and continue to rely on epoll_wait(2) for waiting on events.
This misses out on the finer grained waiting that io_uring can do, to
reduce context switches and wait for multiple events in one batch
reliably.
With adding support for reaping epoll events via io_uring, the whole
legacy readiness based event types can still be reaped via epoll, with
the overall waiting in the loop be driven by io_uring"
