Exynos4 has saveral PPMUs and each of them has operation clock which
can be gated through CMU's SFR control.

The "aclk66_peric" clock is a gate clock with a whole bunch of gates
underneath it. This big gate isn't very useful to include in our
clock tree. If any of the children need to be turned on then the big
gate will need to be on anyway. ...and there are plenty of other "big
gates" that aren't described in our clock tree, some of which shut off
collections of clocks that have no relationship in the hierarchy so
are hard to model.
"aclk66_peric" is causing earlyprintk problems since it gets disabled
as part of the boot process, so let's just remove it.
Strangely (and for no good reason) this clock is exported as part of
the common clock bindings. Remove it since there are no in-kernel
device trees using it and no reason anyone out of tree should refer to
it either.

The mmap2 interface was missing the protection and flags bits needed to
accurately determine if a mmap memory area was shared or private and
if it was readable or not.

Pull ACPI and power management fixes from Rafael Wysocki:
"These are fixes mostly (ia64 regression related to the ACPI
enumeration of devices, cpufreq regressions, fix for I2C controllers
included in Intel SoCs, mvebu cpuidle driver fix related to sysfs)
plus additional kernel command line arguments from Kees to make it
possible to build kernel images with hibernation and the kernel
address space randomization included simultaneously, a new ACPI

will prevent the sysfs interface from returning mangled strings.

To support using kernel features that are not compatible with hibernation,
this creates the "nohibernate" kernel boot parameter to disable both
hibernation and resume. This allows hibernation support to be a boot-time
choice instead of only a compile-time choice.

The user-control put and get handlers as well as the tlv do not protect against
concurrent access from multiple threads. Since the state of the control is not
updated atomically it is possible that either two write operations or a write
and a read operation race against each other. Both can lead to arbitrary memory
disclosure. This patch introduces a new lock that protects user-controls from
concurrent access. Since applications typically access controls sequentially
than in parallel a single lock per card should be fine.

When a machine is booted with nomodeset option, i915 driver skips the
whole initialization. Meanwhile, HD-audio tries to bind wth i915 just
by request_symbol() without knowing that the initialization was
skipped, and eventually it hits WARN_ON() in i915_request_power_well()
and i915_release_power_well() wrongly but still continues probing,
even though it doesn't work at all.
In this patch, both functions are changed to return an error in case
of uninitialized state instead of WARN_ON(), so that HD-audio driver
can give up HDMI controller initialization at the right time.

have in -rc2. This pull request contains:
- Fixes for races in the wait/wakeup logic used in blk-mq from
Alexander. No issues have been observed, but it is definitely a

wakeups going forward, but that needs more testing.
- Some cleanups from Christoph.
- Fix for an oops in null_blk if queue_mode=1 and softirq completions

- A fix for a regression caused by the chunk size setting. It
inadvertently used max_hw_sectors instead of max_sectors, which is
incorrect, and causes hangs on btrfs multi-disk setups (where hw

- Removal of WQ_POWER_EFFICIENT in the kblockd creation. This was a
recent addition as well, but it actually breaks blk-mq which relies
on strict scheduling. If the workqueue power_efficient mode is

When CONFIG_REGULATOR is not set, we cannot call
regulator_can_change_voltage() from a device driver, which results
in a build error like

even for drivers that don't require the regulator API normally.
Such a use was recently added in the omap2+ hdmi driver.
This avoids the problem by adding a static inline function
stub in the API header, as we have for most of the other
regulator functions as well.

CHECKSUM_UNNECESSARY and encapsulation is not set, change to
CHECKSUM_NONE since the checksum has not been validated within the
encapsulation. Clears csum_valid by the same rationale.

In __udp_lib_checksum_complete check if checksum is being done over all
the data (len is equal to skb->len) and if it is call
__skb_checksum_complete instead of __skb_checksum_complete_head. This
allows checksum to be saved in checksum complete.

Joseph Gasparakis reported that VXLAN GSO offload stopped working with
i40e device after recent UDP changes. The problem is that the
SKB_GSO_* bits are out of sync with the corresponding NETIF flags. This
patch fixes that. Also, we add BUILD_BUG_ONs in net_gso_ok for several
GSO constants that were missing to avoid the problem in the future.

Duty Cycle Correction(DCC) needs to be enabled if the MPU is to run at
frequencies beyond 1.4GHz for OMAP5, DRA75x, DRA72x.
MPU DPLL has a limitation on the maximum frequency it can be locked
at. Duty Cycle Correction circuit is used to recover a correct duty
cycle for achieving higher frequencies (hardware internally switches
output to M3 output(CLKOUTHIF) from M2 output (CLKOUT)).

Audio Tracking Logic is designed to be used by HD Radio applications to
synchronize the audio output clocks to the baseband clock. ATL can be also
used to track errors between two reference clocks (BWS, AWS) and generate a modulated
clock output which averages to some desired frequency.
In essence ATL is generating a clock to be used by an audio codec and also
to be used by the SoC as MCLK.
To be able to integrate the ATL provided clocks to the clock tree we need
two types of DT binding:
- DT clock nodes to represent the ATL clocks towards the CCF
- binding for the ATL IP itself which is going to handle the hw
configuration
The reason for this type of setup is that ATL itself is a separate device
in the SoC, it has it's own address space and clock domain. Other IPs can
use the ATL generated clock as their functional clock (McASPs for example)
and external components like audio codecs can also use the very same clock
as their MCLK.
The ATL IP in DRA7 contains 4 ATL instences.

There is a potential dead lock if a cpu event occurs during nvme probe
since it registered with hot cpu notification. This fixes the race by
having the module register with notification outside of probe rather
than have each device register.
The actual work is done in a scheduled work queue instead of in the
notifier since assigning IO queues has the potential to block if the
driver creates additional queues.

It is possible a filesystem may send a flush flagged bio with write
data. There is no such composite NVMe command, so the driver sends flush
and write separately.
The device is allowed to execute these commands in any order, so it was
possible the driver ends the bio after the write completes, but while the
flush is still active. We don't want to let a filesystem believe flush
succeeded before it really has; this could cause data corruption on a
power loss between these events. To fix, this patch splits the flush
and write into chained bios.

This new ioctl call allows the user to supply a buffer of varying size in which
a tree search can store its results. This is much more flexible if you want to
receive items which are larger than the current fixed buffer of 3992 bytes or
if you want to fetch more items at once. Items larger than this buffer are for
example some of the type EXTENT_CSUM.
