* ASoC: codecs: va-macro: add npl clkSrinivas Kandagatla2024-02-131-0/+57
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | New versions of VA Macro has soundwire integrated, so handle the soundwire npl clock correctly in the codec driver. Introduce has_npl_clk and handle the sm8550 case separately because it has soundwire integrated but doesn't have an npl clock. * ASoC: codecs: lpass: Log clk_get() failuresBjorn Andersson2023-07-231-3/+3
| | | | | | | | | | | | The LPASS macro drivers all acquire a number of clocks, but give no indication when clk_get() fails, making it hard to identify and debug system configuration issues. Make these drivers provide useful debug information when this happens. * ASoC: codecs: lpass-va-macro: Convert to platform remove callback returning voidUwe Kleine-König2023-03-201-4/+2
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The .remove() callback for a platform driver returns an int which makes many driver authors wrongly assume it's possible to do error handling by returning an error code. However the value returned is (mostly) ignored and this typically results in resource leaks. To improve here there is a quest to make the remove callback return void. In the first step of this quest all drivers are converted to .remove_new() which already returns void. Trivially convert this driver from always returning zero in the remove callback to the void returning variant. * ASoC: codecs: va-macro: use fsgen as clockSrinivas Kandagatla2022-07-271-2/+9
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | VA Macro fsgen clock is supplied to other LPASS Macros using proper clock apis, however the internal user uses the registers directly without clk apis. This approch has race condition where in external users of the clock might cut the clock while VA macro is actively using this. Moving the internal usage to clk apis would provide a proper refcounting and avoid such race conditions. This issue was noticed while headset was pulled out while recording is in progress and shifting record patch to DMIC.
