| | | | | | | | | ALSA SoC merges DAI call backs into .ops. This patch merge these into one. Signed-off-by: Kuninori Morimoto <kuninori.morimoto.gx@renesas.com> Link: https://lore.kernel.org/r/871qgdb0sa.wl-kuninori.morimoto.gx@renesas.com Signed-off-by: Mark Brown <broonie@kernel.org>
* ASoC: Intel: Migrate to new style legacy DAI naming flagCharles Keepax2022-06-271-6/+8
| | | | | | | | | | | Change the legacy DAI naming flag from opting in to the new scheme (non_legacy_dai_naming), to opting out of it (legacy_dai_naming). These drivers appear to be on the CPU side of the DAI link and currently uses the legacy naming, so add the new flag. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The snd_soc_dai_ops structures is only stored in the ops field of a snd_soc_dai_driver structure, so make the snd_soc_dai_ops structure const to allow the compiler to put it in read-only memory. |/ | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Random noise could be heard when playing audio to the HDMI output. This is due to the IEC conversion is invoked in the external loop. As a result, this additional loop takes up a lot of the processing cycle. hdmi_reformat_iec958() process the conversion using an internal loop, it is safe to move it out from the external loop to avoid unnecessary processing cycle been spent. Furthermore, ALSA IEC958 plugin works in 32bit format only.
