[ Upstream commit 0bb887709eb16bdc4b5baddd8337abf3de72917f ]
When the Acer Switch 10 SW5-012 quirk was added we did not have
jack-detection support yet; and the builtin microphone selection of
the original quirk is wrong too.
Fix the microphone-input quirk and add jack-detection info so that the
internal-microphone and headphone/set jack on the Switch 10 work properly.

[ Upstream commit e9149b8c00d25dbaef1aa174fc604bed207e576d ]
The current code assumes that the power is turned off in
SND_SOC_BIAS_OFF. If there are no actual regulator the codec isn't
turned off and the registers are not reset to their default values but
the regcache is still marked as dirty. Thus a value might not be written
to the hardware if it is set to the default value. Do a software reset
before turning off the power to make sure the registers are always reset
to their default states.

On KBL platform, the microphone is attached to external codec(rt5514)

In order to avoid setting wrong format, we should add a constraint to

[ Upstream commit eabf424f7b60246c76dcb0ea6f1e83ef9abbeaa6 ]
The codec dies when RT5677_PWR_ANLG2(MX-64h) is set to 0xACE1
while it's streaming audio over SPI. The DSP firmware turns
on PLL2 (MX-64 bit 8) when SPI streaming starts. However regmap
does not believe that register can change by itself. When
BST1 (bit 15) is turned on with regmap_update_bits(), it doesn't
read the register first before write, so PLL2 power bit is
cleared by accident.
Marking MX-64h as volatile in regmap solved the issue.

commit e7cfd867fd9842f346688f28412eb83dec342900 upstream.
The headphone jack on buddy was broken with the following commit:
commit 6b5da66322c5 ("ASoC: rt5645: read jd1_1 status for jd
detection").
This changes the jd_mode for buddy to 4 so buddy can read from the same
register that was used in the working version of this driver without
affecting any other devices that might use this, since no other device uses
jd_mode = 4. To test this I plugged and uplugged the headphone jack, verifying
audio works.

commit 7aea8a9d71d54f449f49e20324df06341cc18395 upstream.
Renesas sound device has many IPs and many situations.
If platform/board uses MIXer, situation will be more complex.
To avoid duplicate DVC kctrl registration when MIXer was used,
it had original flags.
But it was issue when sound card was re-binded, because
no one can't cleanup this flags then.
To solve this issue, commit 9c698e8481a15237a ("ASoC: rsnd: tidyup
registering method for rsnd_kctrl_new()") checks registered
card->controls, because if card was re-binded, these were cleanuped
automatically. This patch could solve re-binding issue.
But, it start to avoid MIX kctrl.
To solve these issues, we need below.
To avoid card re-binding issue: check registered card->controls
To avoid duplicate DVC registration: check registered rsnd_kctrl_cfg
To allow multiple MIX registration: check registered rsnd_kctrl_cfg
This patch do it.

[ Upstream commit 9c698e8481a15237a5b1db5f8391dd66d59e42a4 ]
Current rsnd dvc.c is using flags to avoid duplicating register for
MIXer case. OTOH, commit e894efef9ac7 ("ASoC: core: add support to card
rebind") allows to rebind sound card without rebinding all drivers.
Because of above patch and dvc.c flags, it can't re-register kctrl if
only sound card was rebinded, because dvc is keeping old flags.
(Of course it will be no problem if rsnd driver also be rebinded,
but it is not purpose of above patch).
This patch checks current card registered kctrl when registering.
In MIXer case, it can avoid duplicate register if card already has same
kctrl. In rebind case, it can re-register kctrl because card registered
kctl had been removed when unbinding.
This patch is updated version of commit b918f1bc7f1ce ("ASoC: rsnd: DVC
kctrl sets once")

[ Upstream commit dc39596a906d5b604f4e64597b6e904fc14625e8 ]
The devm conversion of kirkwood was incorrect; on removal, devm takes
effect after the "remove" function has returned. So, the effect of
the conversion was to change the order during remove from:
- snd_soc_unregister_component() (unpublishes interfaces)
- clk_disable_unprepare()
- cleanup resources
After the conversion, this became:
- clk_disable_unprepare() - while the device may still be active
- snd_soc_unregister_component()
- cleanup resources
Hence, it introduces a bug, where the internal clock for the device
may be shut down before the device itself has been shut down. It is
known that Marvell SoCs, including Dove, locks up if registers for a
peripheral that has its clocks disabled are accessed.

According to the PM8916 Hardware Register Description,
CDC_D_CDC_CONN_HPHR_DAC_CTL has only a single bit (RX_SEL)
to switch between RX1 (0) and RX2 (1). It is not possible to
disable it entirely to achieve the "ZERO" state.
However, at the moment the "RDAC2 MUX" mixer defines three possible
values ("ZERO", "RX2" and "RX1"). Setting the mixer to "ZERO"
actually configures it to RX1. Setting the mixer to "RX1" has
(seemingly) no effect.
Remove "ZERO" and replace it with "RX1" to fix this.

In the case where lo_vag <= SGTL5000_LINE_OUT_GND_BASE, lo_vag

If the CPU DAI does not initialise rate_max, say if using
using KNOT or CONTINUOUS, then the rate_max field will be
initialised to 0. A value of zero in the rate_max field of
the hardware runtime will cause the sound card to support no
sample rates at all. Obviously this is not desired, just a
different mechanism is being used to apply the constraints. As
such update the setting of rate_max in dpcm_init_runtime_hw
to be consistent with the non-DPCM cases and set rate_max to
UINT_MAX if nothing is defined on the CPU DAI.

In case of WM1811 device there are currently being registered controls
referring to registers not existing on that device.
It has been noticed when getting values of "AIF1ADC2 Volume", "AIF1DAC2
Volume" controls was failing during ALSA state restoring at boot time:
"amixer: Mixer hw:0 load error: Device or resource busy"
Reading some registers through I2C was failing with EBUSY error and
indeed these registers were not available according to the datasheet.
To fix this controls not available on WM1811 are moved to a separate
array and registered only for WM8994 and WM8958.
There are some further differences between WM8994 and WM1811,
e.g. registers 603h, 604h, 605h, which are not covered in this patch.

commit 22e58665a01006d05f0239621f7d41cacca96cc4 upstream.
Unlike other format-related DAI parameters, rdai->bit_clk_inv flag
is not properly re-initialized when setting format for new stream
processing. The inversion, if requested, is then applied not to default,

set incorrectly.
Fix this by re-setting the flag to its initial value, determined by format.

commit b1f373a11d25fc9a5f7679c9b85799fe09b0dc4a upstream.
VAG power control is improved to fit the manual [1]. This patch fixes as
minimum one bug: if customer muxes Headphone to Line-In right after boot,
the VAG power remains off that leads to poor sound quality from line-in.
I.e. after boot:
- Connect sound source to Line-In jack;
- Connect headphone to HP jack;
- Run following commands:
$ amixer set 'Headphone' 80%
$ amixer set 'Headphone Mux' LINE_IN
Change VAG power on/off control according to the following algorithm:
- turn VAG power ON on the 1st incoming event.
- keep it ON if there is any active VAG consumer (ADC/DAC/HP/Line-In).
- turn VAG power OFF when there is the latest consumer's pre-down event
come.
- always delay after VAG power OFF to avoid pop.
- delay after VAG power ON if the initiative consumer is Line-In, this
prevents pop during line-in muxing.
According to the data sheet [1], to avoid any pops/clicks,
the outputs should be muted during input/output
routing changes.

There will be error after end of arecord:
aplay: pcm_write:2051: write error: Input/output error
Capture and Playback work in parallel in master mode, one
substream stops, the other substream is impacted, the
reason is that clock is disabled wrongly.
The clock's reference count is not increased when second
substream starts, the hw_param() function returns in the
beginning because first substream is enabled, then in end
of first substream, the hw_free() disables the clock.
This patch is to move the clock enablement to the place
before checking of the device enablement in hw_param().

The BCLK divider should be calculated using the parameters that actually
make the BCLK rate: the number of channels, the sampling rate and the
sample width.
We've been using the oversample_rate previously because in the former SoCs,
the BCLK's parent is MCLK, which in turn is being used to generate the
oversample rate, so we end up with something like this:
oversample = mclk_rate / sampling_rate
bclk_div = oversample / word_size / channels
So, bclk_div = mclk_rate / sampling_rate / word_size / channels.
And this is actually better, since the oversampling ratio only plays a role
because the MCLK is its parent, not because of what BCLK is supposed to be.
Furthermore, that assumption of MCLK being the parent has been broken on
newer SoCs, so let's use the proper formula, and have the parent rate as an
argument.

When transitioning to supend state, uniphier_aio_dai_suspend() is called
and asserts reset lines and disables clocks.
However, if there are two or more DAIs, uniphier_aio_dai_suspend() are
called multiple times, and double reset assersion will cause.
This patch defines the counter that has the number of DAIs at first, and
whenever uniphier_aio_dai_suspend() are called, it decrements the
counter. And only if the counter is zero, it asserts reset lines and
disables clocks.
In the same way, uniphier_aio_dai_resume() are called, it increments the
counter after deasserting reset lines and enabling clocks.

ADG is using clk_get_rate() under atomic context, thus, we might
have scheduling issue.
To avoid this issue, we need to get/keep clk rate under
non atomic context.
We need to handle ADG as special device at Renesas Sound driver.
From SW point of view, we want to impletent it as
rsnd_mod_ops :: prepare, but it makes code just complicate.
To avoid complicated code/patch, this patch adds new clk_rate[] array,
and keep clk IN rate when rsnd_adg_clk_enable() was called.
