[ Upstream commit f67a90a0c8f5b3d0acc18f10650d90fec44775f9 ]
Lately, an additional locking was added by commit c0a40097f0bc
("drivers: core: synchronize really_probe() and dev_uevent()"). The
locking protects dev_uevent() calling. This function is used to send
messages from the kernel to user space. Uevent messages notify user space
about changes in device states, such as when a device is added, removed,
or changed. These messages are used by udev (or other similar user-space
tools) to apply device-specific rules.
After reloading devlink instance, udev events should be processed. This
locking causes a short delay of udev events handling.
One example for useful udev rule is renaming ports. 'forwading.config'
can be configured to use names after udev rules are applied. Some tests run
devlink_reload() and immediately use the updated names. This worked before
the above mentioned commit was pushed, but now the delay of uevent messages
causes that devlink_reload() returns before udev events are handled and
tests fail.
Adjust devlink_reload() to not assume that udev events are already
processed when devlink reload is done, instead, wait for udev events to
ensure they are processed before returning from the function.

[ Upstream commit af2b7e5b741aaae9ffbba2c660def434e07aa241 ]
In selftests/net/msg_zerocopy.c, it has a while loop keeps calling sendmsg
on a socket with MSG_ZEROCOPY flag, and it will recv the notifications
until the socket is not writable. Typically, it will start the receiving
process after around 30+ sendmsgs. However, as the introduction of commit
dfa2f0483360 ("tcp: get rid of sysctl_tcp_adv_win_scale"), the sender is
always writable and does not get any chance to run recv notifications.
The selftest always exits with OUT_OF_MEMORY because the memory used by
opt_skb exceeds the net.core.optmem_max. Meanwhile, it could be set to a
different value to trigger OOM on older kernels too.
Thus, we introduce "cfg_notification_limit" to force sender to receive
notifications after some number of sendmsgs.

commit 31974122cfdeaf56abc18d8ab740d580d9833e90 upstream.
The netdev CI runs in a VM and captures serial, so stdout and
stderr get combined. Because there's a missing new line in
stderr the test ends up corrupting KTAP:
# Successok 1 selftests: net: reuseaddr_conflict
which should have been:
# Success
ok 1 selftests: net: reuseaddr_conflict

[ Upstream commit 855067defa36b1f9effad8c219d9a85b655cf500 ]
This test verifies whether the encapsulated packets have the correct
configured TTL. It does so by sending ICMP packets through the test
topology and mirroring them to a gretap netdevice. On a busy host
however, more than just the test ICMP packets may end up flowing
through the topology, get mirrored, and counted. This leads to
potential spurious failures as the test observes much more mirrored
packets than the sent test packets, and assumes a bug.
Fix this by tightening up the mirror action match. Change it from
matchall to a flower classifier matching on ICMP packets specifically.

[ Upstream commit b8e629b05f5d23f9649c901bef09fab8b0c2e4b9 ]
As mentioned in the blamed commit, flood_unicast_test() works by
checking the match count on a tc filter placed on the receiving
interface.
But the second host interface (host2_if) has no interest in receiving a
packet with MAC DA de:ad:be:ef:13:37, so its RX filter drops it even
before the ingress tc filter gets to be executed. So we will incorrectly
get the message "Packet was not flooded when should", when in fact, the
packet was flooded as expected but dropped due to an unrelated reason,
at some other layer on the receiving side.
Force h2 to accept this packet by temporarily placing it in promiscuous
mode. Alternatively we could either deliver to its MAC address or use
tcpdump_start, but this has the fewest complications.
This fixes the "flooding" test from bridge_vlan_aware.sh and
bridge_vlan_unaware.sh, which calls flood_test from the lib.

commit 3122257c02afd9f199a8fc84ae981e1fc4958532 upstream.
In emulated environments, the bridge ports enslaved to br1 get a carrier
before changing br1's PVID. This means that by the time the PVID is
changed, br1 is already operational and configured with an IPv6
link-local address.
When the test is run with netdevs registered by mlxsw, changing the PVID
is vetoed, as changing the VID associated with an existing L3 interface
is forbidden. This restriction is similar to the 8021q driver's
restriction of changing the VID of an existing interface.
Fix this by taking br1 down and bringing it back up when it is fully
configured.
With this fix, the test reliably passes on top of both the SW and HW
data paths (emulated or not).

commit edcbf5137f093b5502f5f6b97cce3cbadbde27aa upstream.
When mirroring to a gretap in hardware the device expects to be
programmed with the egress port and all the encapsulating headers. This
requires the driver to resolve the path the packet will take in the
software data path and program the device accordingly.
If the path cannot be resolved (in this case because of an unresolved
neighbor), then mirror installation fails until the path is resolved.
This results in a race that causes the test to sometimes fail.
Fix this by setting the neighbor's state to permanent, so that it is
always valid.

But it hardcodes the cores and skips core 0, so it fails on machines

[ Upstream commit e8023b030ce1748930e2dc76353a262fe47d4745 ]
For tc ip_proto filter, when we extract the flow via __skb_flow_dissect()
without flag FLOW_DISSECTOR_F_STOP_AT_ENCAP, we will continue extract to
the inner proto.
So for GRE + ICMP messages, we should not track GRE proto, but inner ICMP
proto.
For test mirror_gre.sh, it may make user confused if we capture ICMP
message on $h3(since the flow is GRE message). So I move the capture
dev to h3-gt{4,6}, and only capture ICMP message.

[ Upstream commit e404b8c7cfb31654c9024d497cec58a501501692 ]
After commit 27596472473a ("ipv6: fix ECMP route replacement") it is no
longer possible to replace an ECMP-able route by a non ECMP-able route.
For example,
ip route add 2001:db8::1/128 via fe80::1 dev dummy0
ip route replace 2001:db8::1/128 dev dummy0
does not work as expected.
Tweak the replacement logic so that point 3 in the log of the above commit
becomes:
3. If the new route is not ECMP-able, and no matching non-ECMP-able route
exists, replace matching ECMP-able route (if any) or add the new route.
We can now summarize the entire replace semantics to:
When doing a replace, prefer replacing a matching route of the same
"ECMP-able-ness" as the replace argument. If there is no such candidate,
fallback to the first route found.

Immediately after mlxsw module is probed and lldpad started, added APP
entries are briefly in "unknown" state before becoming "pending". That's
the state that lldpad_app_wait_set() typically sees, and since there are
no pending entries at that time, it bails out. However the entries have
not been pushed to the kernel yet at that point, and thus the test case
fails.
Fix by waiting for both unknown and pending entries to disappear before
proceeding.

TLS test cases splice_from_pipe, send_and_splice &
recv_peek_multiple_records expect to receive a given nummber of bytes
and then compare them against the number of bytes which were sent.
Therefore, system call recv() must not return before receiving the
requested number of bytes, otherwise the subsequent memcmp() fails.
This patch passes MSG_WAITALL flag to recv() so that it does not return
prematurely before requested number of bytes are copied to receive
buffer.

Prior to this change an application sending <= 1MSS worth of data and
enabling UDP GSO would fail if the system had SW GSO enabled, but the
same send would succeed if HW GSO offload is enabled. In addition to this
inconsistency the error in the SW GSO case does not get back to the
application if sending out of a real device so the user is unaware of this
failure.
With this change we only perform GSO if the # of segments is > 1 even
if the application has enabled segmentation. I've also updated the
relevant udpgso selftests.

expects the prefix as the first part of the expected output. When
checking that a route has been deleted the prefix is empty leading
to an invalid ip command:

Fix by moving the comparison of expected output and output to a new

Just like commit e2ba732a1681 ("selftests: fib_tests: sleep after
changing carrier"), wait one second to allow linkwatch to propagate the
carrier change to the stack.
There are two sets of carrier tests. The first slept after the carrier
was set to off, and when the second set ran, it was likely that the
linkwatch would be able to run again without much delay, reducing the
likelihood of a race. However, if you run 'fib_tests.sh -t carrier' on a
loop, you will quickly notice the failures.
Sleeping on the second set of tests make the failures go away.

It's GNU Make and linker specific.
The default Makefile rule looks like:
$(CC) $(CFLAGS) $(LDFLAGS) $@ $^ $(LDLIBS)
When linking is done by gcc itself, no issue, but when it needs to be passed
to proper ld, only LDLIBS follows and then ld cannot know what libs to link
with.

LDFLAGS
Extra flags to give to compilers when they are supposed to invoke the linker,
‘ld’, such as -L. Libraries (-lfoo) should be added to the LDLIBS variable
instead.
LDLIBS
Library flags or names given to compilers when they are supposed to invoke the
linker, ‘ld’. LOADLIBES is a deprecated (but still supported) alternative to
LDLIBS. Non-library linker flags, such as -L, should go in the LDFLAGS
variable.

The intent of ip6_route_check_nh_onlink is to make sure the gateway
given for an onlink route is not actually on a connected route for
a different interface (e.g., 2001:db8:1::/64 is on dev eth1 and then
an onlink route has a via 2001:db8:1::1 dev eth2). If the gateway
lookup hits the default route then it most likely will be a different
interface than the onlink route which is ok.
Update ip6_route_check_nh_onlink to disregard the device mismatch
if the gateway lookup hits the default route. Turns out the existing
onlink tests are passing because there is no default route or it is
an unreachable default, so update the onlink tests to have a default
route other than unreachable.

Daniel Borkmann says:
====================
pull-request: bpf 2018-10-14
The following pull-request contains BPF updates for your *net* tree.
The main changes are:
1) Fix xsk map update and delete operation to not call synchronize_net()
but to piggy back on SOCK_RCU_FREE for sockets instead as we are not
allowed to sleep under RCU, from Björn.
2) Do not change RLIMIT_MEMLOCK in reuseport_bpf selftest if the process
already has unlimited RLIMIT_MEMLOCK, from Eric.

If the current process has unlimited RLIMIT_MEMLOCK,
we should should leave it as is.

The udpgso_bench.sh script requires several bash-only features. This
may cause random failures if the default shell is not bash.
Address the above explicitly requiring bash as the script interpreter
