* fs_parse: add uid & gid option option parsing helpersEric Sandeen2024-07-021-2/+7
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Multiple filesystems take uid and gid as options, and the code to create the ID from an integer and validate it is standard boilerplate that can be moved into common helper functions, so do that for consistency and less cut&paste. This also helps avoid the buggy pattern noted by Seth Jenkins at https://lore.kernel.org/lkml/CALxfFW4BXhEwxR0Q5LSkg-8Vb4r2MONKCcUCVioehXQKr35eHg@mail.gmail.com/ because uid/gid parsing will fail before any assignment in most filesystems. * fs_context: drop the unused lsm_flags memberOndrej Mosnacek2023-03-161-1/+0
| | | | | | | | | | This isn't ever used by VFS now, and it couldn't even work. Any FS that uses the SECURITY_LSM_NATIVE_LABELS flag needs to also process the value returned back from the LSM, so it needs to do its security_sb_set_mnt_opts() call on its own anyway. | * ext4: journal_path mount options should follow linksLukas Czerner2022-12-011-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Before the commit 461c3af045d3 ("ext4: Change handle_mount_opt() to use fs_parameter") ext4 mount option journal_path did follow links in the provided path. Bring this behavior back by allowing to pass pathwalk flags to fs_lookup_param(). * | fs: simplify vfs_get_superChristoph Hellwig2022-11-251-11/+0
|/ | | | | | | | | Remove the pointless keying argument and associated enum and pass the fill_super callback and a "bool reconf" instead.
